Dear Members and Friends,
We are fast approaching our reopening date of June 7th. The church council has been making plans so that we have a safe transition back to worshiping in our building. Please review the following items:
• The pews have been spaced for social distancing. We ask that families sit together, and otherwise please sit on either end of a pew.
• Face masks will be required for entering and exiting the chapel due to social distancing being compromised during those times. Masks will not be required to be worn during the service. If possible please provide your own face mask. If you need a face mask, please let us know.
• Please do not congregate in the narthex or around the mailboxes.
• Hymnals and Bibles have been removed to reduce the amount of sanitizing required. All liturgy and hymns will be printed in the bulletin.
• We will not be offering any Bible Study, Sunday School or formal fellowship activities after worship until all restrictions have been lifted.
• We encourage you to visit with friends, but please use proper discretion for social distancing. Visiting outside would be preferred. If we don't follow the governor's plan, it will reflect poorly on us as members of the community.
• We urge all vulnerable people to remain at home. We also request that if you have any of the common symptoms, that you refrain from attending worship services.
• If you are concerned about the health risk of attending service, but you still need the comfort of the Holy Spirit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are still thinking of how to best serve all of God's children.
May the peace of the Lord be with you,
Corie Gregory
Council President
