Friday was our last work day. Bitter sweet. This was an amazing team. God was with us everyday. Numbers aren’t in yet but last we heard 290 people came to Christ with our mission team and the churches we worked with this week!

As we travel home today, many of us will reflect on the week. We will reflect on the things we saw, the hardships we witnessed, the language barriers we worked through, and the challenges that many of these people deal with everyday. And yet we leave here as the ones who have been blessed.

Operation Serve International is an amazing organization. They work with local churches to help the unchurched. We come in and provide services like medical, optical, children ministry, and so much more and the churches here council and invite the locals to hear about Jesus even after we have gone.

So even though this one week mission trip is over, our team is forever changed. God is good.

Another amazing day serving the Lord. The need is so great here. 🙏 we see people in some of the worst conditions. It reminds me of a David Crowder song…

Come out of sadness
From wherever you've been
Come broken hearted
Let rescue begin
Come find your mercy
Oh sinner come kneel
Earth has no sorrow
That heaven can't heal

Our hope is to bring even the smallest amount of hope to them. Show them they are VALUED.

We may supply medical, optical, children’s ministry, hair care etc but the true celebration comes from the light we have been given to shine on these people. To bring some joy…some hope.

Yesterday was another day filled with blessings. The church we arrived at needed rain. They hadn’t had any for over a week. Within an hour or so of our arrival it poured!! Something that doesn’t happen often during the day in this part of the city. God is so good.

This AM we were super blessed to be led in worship by our very own Eric Tigges! And some of our youth led music with Silas on the drums!!! Today, as Eric reflected on 2 Kings 4, we couldn’t help but see Chimalhuacán in its pages. A widow stood before Elisha with nothing left. She was overwhelmed, afraid, and unsure how she would care for her family. God didn’t simply see her need, He met it. He took the little she had and multiplied it until there was not only enough, but an abundance.

That is the God we serve.

As we worked at the Freedom under God church in Chimalhuacán, we met families who are doing everything they can with so very little. Parents who work tirelessly, children who deserve hope, and families praying for their next meal. Poverty may be their reality, but it is certianly not their identity. They are deeply loved by God. They are so incredibly kind, and loving and so so so grateful. This week our team has the privilege of being a small part of His provision. Whether it’s eye exams, triage , encouraging children, or simply reminding someone that they are seen and valued, we are watching God use ordinary people and ordinary gifts to accomplish extraordinary things.

The miracle in 2 Kings 4 wasn’t just about oil, it was about a God who provides, restores dignity, and reminds His people that He has not forgotten them.

Please continue praying for the people of Chimalhuacán. Pray that physical needs are met, hearts are opened to the hope of Jesus, and that we would faithfully be His hands and feet. We may only carry a small jar, but in God’s hands, it is always enough.

“Now borrow as many empty jars as you can… Then pour your oil into them.” — 2 Kings 4

So many blessings today. God is using us.

In 2 days we served over 200 people with medical, optical, hair, nails, kids, nutrition, face painting, and counseling. 77 of them came to Jesus! Even though we leave in a few days these new believers in Christ will have a church home to carry their faith forward. Thank you Operation Serve International for all of the work you do!!!!!

Today was our first day handing out food baskets.
