On this day 25 years ago, the United States changed forever. It was one of those events where we can look back and remember where we were when we heard the news of the attack on America. We saw the devastation and destruction on the news. We saw the pain of those who had lost loved ones. We saw the fear of those who didn’t know what would come next. We may have even experienced these feelings for ourselves.
As we contemplate the past 25 years, and as we look to our future, may we remember one thing. May the words members of congress sang that night, on the steps of the capital building still ring in our hearts.
