St. Mary's sent 4 members to participate in the annual Rise Against Hunger meal packing event. This year the host parish was Church of the Good Shepherd in Rocky Mount. We helped pack 15,000 meals to be distributed in areas of need. It was a great opportunity to see friends from neighboring parishes.

Bishop Jennifer's visit was a welcome one. Everyone enjoyed the service and the opportunity to chat with her afterwards at the pot luck supper.

St. Mary's is pleased to announce that Bishop Jennifer Brooke-Davidson will be with us on 4/27/25 at 4pm for her annual visit. There will be a pot luck supper immediately following. St. Mary's, Speed joins with Calvery Episcopal, Tarboro and many other parishes in the Rocky Mount Convocation to Rise Against Hunger. 15,000 meals were packaged and boxed to go to areas in need due to famine, poverty or disaster. Many hands made light work and it only took a few hours.

Saint Mary's monthly pot luck supper will be held this Sunday 8/4/24 at 4pm. Both the church service and the meal will be held in the parish hall. Come, bring a dish if you can and a friend or invite a stranger to share in our fellowship with the Lord.

Hi everyone! Rev. Daniel will leading a team from Elizabeth City on a medical mission to Honduras July 27-Aug 3. One way St. Mary’s can help out is by donating flat, white sheets and pillow cases for the medical clinic. We don’t need fitted sheets, just the flat sheets. They can be new or gently used (twin sized.) donations can be brought to St. Mary’s this Sunday. You can also financially contribute to the mission at this link!
