Thanks to all who came out to have spaghetti with us last Saturday! You were very generous and the support for our church and missions is very much appreciated. Due to the incoming storm, services have been canceled for tomorrow. Like last week, be restful in your sabbath and in the Word. There are lots of devotional videos and YouTube options to enjoy. When I can’t attend services here, I watch Wodland Hills Family Church in Branson, MO. Their services are also canceled but they have prepared something that you can watch on Facebook at 10 a.m.

Sharing something you might find useful in your reading of the Word - I use The Bible Recap reading plan which is a chronological reading plan. This is how the devotional and readings start each day with prayer -
Before you read God's Word today, ask for His help by praying these 5 prayers:
1. God, give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.
2. Let any knowledge I gain help me love You and others more, and not puff me up.
3. Help me see something new about You that I’ve never seen before.
4. Correct any lies I believe about You or anything I misunderstand.
5. Direct my steps according to Your Word. Amen

Service at Mountain Community is canceled today due to illness. Pastor Howie has the flu that hit his family last week. Prayers that the flu finds its way out of the community and that Pastor and the family are feeling better soon! Find time today to be in the Word and spend time at the Savior's feet - have a blessed day

Our spaghetti dinners have been put on hold due to circumstances beyond our control. So many people with family that needs us 24/7 and so much illness around. We'll let you know if circumstances change and we can get back to our regular schedule. You are all in our prayers and we encourage you to come to church....this past week we canceled because of the icy parking lot but we are regularly on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. God bless you all as we move through the winter season and we look forward to seeing you soon!
