Took a walk through our prayer garden today. It was amazingly peaceful. We are very thankful to our TrailLife troop for taking on the task of a refresh. It’s coming along very nicely.

A Look Ahead:
Ways to Get Involved at SunRise

Every now and then, someone will ask, “If I wanted to do something for the church, what does SunRise need?”

It’s a wonderful question, and we love that people want to pitch in.

We already have several church projects underway, but there’s plenty more on our hearts as we look toward the future. Below is a wish list of ideas and needs. Nothing here is urgent or expected of anyone — it’s simply a list to look over. If something catches your eye and you’d like to be part of it, we’d love to hear from you.

Sound, Stage & Lighting

• A functional and attractive stage expansion

• Stagebox installation

• Ongoing training for running and maintaining our sound system

• Monitors

• Truss for lighting

• DMX cable installation

Music & Worship

• Singers

• Musicians

• Anyone interested in learning to lead worship

• A 5th Sunday service dedicated to music and testimony

Looking Down the Road

• a Sound system for outdoor events

• Once our sound team is trained and our system and lighting are where we’d like them to be, we’d love to explore youth nights, family movie nights, and even concerts here at the church
