This past Sunday, we were reminded of the command Jesus has given us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matthew 5:13-16).
Our faith is made for movement. Our testimony is designed to be told. The church isn't just what happens on Sunday. The church is God's people living out their faith wherever He has called them.
Every week, God sends His people into places only they can reach—classrooms, offices, hospitals, construction sites, businesses, homes, and communities. These aren't just jobs; they're mission fields. They are places where we have the opportunity to reflect Christ, share His love, and shine His light.
As the Body of Christ, we are a chosen people with a holy purpose—brought to life by Jesus and sent out by Jesus. May we faithfully live as salt and light in the places God has entrusted to us this week.
