During this part of the service, right after the confession of sins by the whole body, you hear these words. It's a reminder of the work of God and the grace bestowed upon us through Jesus:

"Hear the Word of God to all who truly turn to him:

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. - Matthew 11:28

God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. - 1 Timothy 1:15
