This Sunday, Pastor John brought a powerful word from John 4:35, where Jesus tells his disciples to open their eyes and look at the fields that are already ripe for harvest. The harvest is not four months away. It is walking up the road.

The message was simple but convicting: sent people see, sent people respond, sent people go. Most of us do not have a calling problem. We have a seeing problem. The co-worker who has gone quiet, the neighbor whose yard has grown up, the kid on the team whose dad never shows up. God has already placed your mission in your everyday life.

This week, carry one question with you: God, who have you put in front of me? You cannot sincerely pray that and keep your eyes closed. Once you see, you respond. Once you respond, you go.

Most of us do not have a calling problem. We have a seeing problem.

This Sunday, Pastor John brought a word that cuts straight to the heart of what it means to follow Christ in everyday life. Drawing from John 4:35, where Jesus tells his disciples to open their eyes and look at the fields already ripe for harvest, the message was clear: your mission field is not somewhere out there. It is your family, your neighbor, your coworker, the person sitting alone.

The question is not, What program does the church have? The question is, "God, who have you put in front of me?" That one prayer changes everything.

Sent people see. Sent people respond. Sent people go. You already have what you need. Open your eyes.
