WHEN YOU SEE THESE THINGS THE END IS NOT YET, is what Jesus said/

Look around you, what do you see? True, this is not the first time we have witnessed wars and rumors of wars. But this time about, it’s a lot different. For one thing, this is a global war. While at the same time, it’s a plague or pestilence, which are signs of His Coming! But we should not be surprised, wars and rumors of wars are not the sign of the end time. For Jesus said, “The end is not yet.” See Matthew 24th chapter.
Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the

( #9.) Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. (This sign is not happening yet, in our part of the world. But it will) Mat 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Mat 24:11 ( #10.) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

At one point Jesus told His discipleship to get in the boat, “Let’s go to the other side!” On their way, a storm came and it looked like the ship would sink, the disciples was afraid. They woke Jesus up and He reminded them, “Oh ye of little faith!” He rebuked the storm and they crossed safely to the other side. They should have known, when Jesus said, “Lets go to the other side!” nothing could stop them. Right now we are in the middle of a storm. It goes from bad to worse.) But the fact remains; this Gospel shall reach reaching the whole world before His return.

Post B Salvation Chapter
No doubt, in lots of cases, when a person is not healed when they are prayed for, it may not be the fault of the one but rather, the one may be the one at fault.

Act 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, . (Peter invited the man to look on him for his faith to be healed>
Act 3:5 And he gave heed (expecting to receive something of them.) Act 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as [I have] give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Act 3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Peter and John had something to give, and they gave it. The man that was healed was not expecting to be healed. He was expecting alms. Who do you say that had the faith that worked for this lame man?
I remember at Crossville, Bro. Gass felt he was dying. Dad would say, No! you are not going to die. Bro. Gass would say, "I have been healed lots of times, but this time I believe I am dying." Dad said, "Then rely upon my faith!" Bro. Gass agreed to do that. God healed him instantaneously and completely. I remember those things real well. Those memories will stay with me the rest of my days. It was God working in dad, and his faith.

The women said, "If I could but touch the him of His garment, I will be healed." And she was!

But getting away from that kind of faith, let's consider a verse so many has so great conflicting interpretations of. Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth (BELIEVE WHAT) and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (THE GOSPEL)

The church of Christ's interpretation goes like this; to every creature. That Gospel is;
Mar 16:16 He that believeth (BELIEVE their doctrine of water baptism) and is baptized (water baptism) shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Not much emphases placed upon the believing part. Rather than, "if you believe that Jesus died and was resurrected, if you say yes, we will set a day to baptize you in water, and in that water you are saved. That is, providing a church of Christ preacher baptizes you."

Post A Salvation Chapter
FAITH POST… questions have been asked about justification by faith. Here it goes!

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
Heb 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

This faith is not a complicating faith. We simple accept or trust the record, that is; that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, according to Heb 11:3.
No, we don't even start to understand the details of the Creation. But by faith, we accept it based upon was the Bible says or as it describes it to be is true. That describes faith! How could such a universe be created by a spoken Word? But, we believe it was without question. That is not however.
I Cor. 11:14

Faith and relationship with God goes hand in hand. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, "FAITH," Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. This category of faith is not the same faith as mentioned in Heb. 11: 1.

This so called; "name it, and claim it" is a cheap kind of "so called" faith. In much part, it cauterizes a COUNTERFEIT faith, with the exception of the gift of faith, that will be explained later post. But even that God is taking the driver's seat, not us. While the "name it, and claim it" puts us in the drivers seat. Otherwise, that is a "flesh faith." No more than a "religious doctrine." That places the "faith holder" as in charge of his own destiny. True, we make choices that affect the outcome of our destiny, and of course, having control of our own destiny is what we want, but at some degree, this is not the plan of God. 'God only' has that kind of control. Thou the world teach it differently. By living and walking in our destiny is eternal life with Jesus. So this topic is very essential to our understanding; or important to the highest degree.

Let me try to describe the faith I had when I was so sick with my heart attack, and the Lymphoma cancer. I can't really boost of my 'great faith'. My faith was simple also. I truly felt that God was in control of my life. No more, no less than that. That confidence seems to come to me rather than me mustering-up this sort of faith. It was based upon my understanding of God's Word and the assurance I felt inside me. There is left no room for bragging. It certainly was not a "name it claim it kind of faith with me." It was much like the put in me by the Holy Spirit.

This sort of faith I had, is what I call "relationship faith." I could not say positively I will be healed, with no question about it. It was more like, no matter what happens, God is in control of the situation! With some people, they would say, that is not faith at all. But actually, it is true faith, that is, if you can feel it within you. And I mean, "feel it." It was a deep set of peace. Much like God had told me directly, "Nothing can happen to you without my permission."

This is not to say, a person that is not healed did not have a relationship with God or 'relationship faith.' Remember, I said, I did not know for certain that God was going to heal me. But I did know for sure that He was in control of my situation. And I felt for with surety, if I should die, I would be in His presence. That is, nothing will happen to me without His consent.

The kind of faith that my Dad had was the results of fasting. By this 'kind of faith' he could rest assured he could pray for a person and that person would be healed. I have experienced that kind of faith at times. During this 'gift of faith' a working of the Holy Ghost, One can, at that point, name it and claim it. Please, don't stop reading. You haven't heard it yet.
Jesus said it this way…

Matthew 17:17-21 The disciples ask him privately, "Why could not we cast him out?"
Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be (impossible unto you.)
Mat 17:21 Howbeit this "KIND GOETH" not out but by prayer and fasting.

Post R Part J
Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Abraham two sons nor Isaac two sons, could all be the Royal Blood Line to Jesus. The same is true with Jacob' twelve sons. Only one could have this honor.

Not even Jacob be the Royal Son, his name had to be changed from Jacob to Israel. Certainly all 12 of Jacob's sons could not continue that 'one' bloodline. Therefore they would have to be tested to find which of the 12 would show the spirit of Jesus that would come.

A deep draft was in the land and Jacob and his sons were in great need of food. Jacob had heard that the king in Egypt stored corn for such a time as this, so he sent his sons there to buy corn. Jacob would not let his favorite son, Benjamin, go on the trip in fear that something might happen to him.

They went together to Egypt to buy corn, not knowing that Joseph, their brother, would be the man they would do business with, for they had sold Joseph to Egypt years back. If it had not been for Judah at that time, the brothers would have killed Joseph. Now here they are again, standing before Joseph to buy corn. Except this time, they do not recognize him to be Joseph. Joseph insist that if they have to come back to buy more corn, they will have to bring Benjamin with them to prove they are not spies, that they have told him the truth about themselves.

Finally the time came they had to go back to Egypt to buy more corn. The boys told Jacob that the man insisted they must bring Benjamin with them to buy the corn if not, he would not sale them any. Jacob did not want him to go fearing something bad would happen to him.
But Judah stood up promising to be a surety for Benjamin. Heb 7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. Judah put his life on the line for Benjamin because of his love for his father.

Post P Part H Abraham sent his servant Eliezer to get a wife for Isaac

In this analogy, Abraham is a type of God the Father. Isaac is a type of Jesus Christ. Eliezer the servant is a type of the Holy Ghost. Rebecca is a type of the Church.
Interesting that the Bible does not say much about Rebecca, accept for her and her Her willingness to volunteer and water ten camels and leave home to take the long trip to meet her husband to be. But they had a lot to say about Isaac, her husband. That tells me the message is not about the church, it is all about Christ. And it tells me how important is in being His Church. And that He beautifies the meek with salvation.

Abraham turns his attentions to finding a wife for their son, Isaac. Knowing as he does that Isaac is meant to be his not just any woman will do. Nor may Isaac leave the Holy Land for any reason. Therefore, Abraham charges his trusty servant (a type of the Holy Spirit) to select a wife for Isaac from among Abraham’s own kin back in Aram-naharaim. If the woman the servant finds Abraham assures him he has at least done his duty. The servant swears to uphold Abraham’s requests and he sets off, with ten camels and an array of gifts in tow.

When the servant arrives at the well on the outskirts of town, he turns to God for direction. He sets a sign for himself: (type of prophecy) the woman who not only offers him water, but his camels, too, is the right one for Isaac. Before he even completes his prayer, the servant spies young Rebecca, daughter of Bethuel and granddaughter of Abraham’s brother, Nahor. He asks her for water, and she replies by giving it to him, then in humility watering all his ten camels. Watching her work, the servant becomes convinced that this woman is destined to marry his master’s son, and he brings forth the jewelry which he carried for that purpose. He asks who her family is and if they will take him in overnight. She confirms her identity and invites him to stay with her family. The servant responds by thanking God for bringing him to the right place.

The Israel Bible discusses the significance of the caravan which the servant brought with him. The camel earned his name because it is “able to survive in the absence of water for many months.” How fitting that this symbol of independence carried back Rebecca, who made an independent choice to join Isaac in the Holy Land of Israel! Ten camel represents a lot of power to carry a little women and her substance on that long trip. What a beautiful diagram of God's People.

Post O Part G Isaac a Type of Jesus Christ had twins in birth

God told Abraham to offer his only begotten Son of Promise as a living sacrifice. It was a type of God the Father offering His only begotten Son for the sacrifice of sin. Therefore, we that are saved, are of the seed of Isaac. (Gen. 17: 19) That is, a seed of faith. (Romans 9: 7, Hebrews 11: 18)

Isaac married his beloved Rebecca. (She a type of the Church explained in next post) They too, have two sons, Esau and Jacob. These two boys lay out a pattern of flesh and grace, as did Ishmael and Isaac.
Abraham, father of the Jewish nation, did not want his son Isaac to marry one of the pagan Canaanite women in the area, so he sent his servant Eliezer (type of the Holy Ghost) to his homeland to find a wife for Isaac. (type of the Church) When the servant arrived, he prayed that the right girl would not only offer him a drink of water from the well but offer to water his ten camels too. A Camel is capable of drinking 30 gallons in under 15 minutes. Eliezer had ten camels, that could come to 300 gallon of water for the little lady to draw out of the well. A very big task.
Rebekah came out with her water jar and did exactly that! She agreed to go back with the servant and became Isaac's wife, though she had never met him. That is the same as His Church going to meet Jesus whom we have never met.
In time, Abraham died. Like her mother-in-law Sarah, Rebecca was also barren. Isaac prayed to God for her and Rebecca to conceived twins. The Lord told Rebecca what would happen to her sons:
"Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger." (Genesis 25:24, NIV)
They named the twins Esau and Jacob. Esau was born first, but Jacob became Rebecca's favorite. When the boys grew up, Jacob tricked his older brother into selling his birthright for a bowl of stew. Later, his father Isaac was dying and his eyesight had failed; Rebecca helped Jacob deceive Isaac into blessing him instead of Esau. She put goatskins on Jacob's hands and neck to imitate Esau's hairy skin. When Isaac touched it, he blessed Jacob, thinking it was really Esau.
Rebecca's deception caused strife between Esau and Jacob. Many years later, however, Esau forgave Jacob. When Rebecca died, she was buried in the family tomb, a cave near Mamre in Canaan, the resting place of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, and her daughter-in-law Leah.
Neither Esau nor Jacob was fit to be the Royal Bloodline to Jesus, therefore, Jacob had to be changed inside and out to receive such honor. Next Post.

Post N Part F His Two Sons
Ishmael and Isaac

Isaac and Ishmael: Represents Spirit and Flesh . In Galatians 4:28-29, Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. :29 But as then he that was born after the flesh (Ishmael) persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, (Isaac) even so it is now.
Gal 4:30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: (Hagar and Ishmael) for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. (Sarah and Isaac)
Gal 4:31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, (Hagar and Ishmael) but of the free. (Isaac)

Paul makes it clear that Ishmael represents the believer’s first birth (the flesh) and Isaac represents the second birth (the Spirit). Ishmael was “born of the flesh” because Abraham and Sarah decided on their own to beget a son . Isaac was “born of the Spirit” because by that time his parents were both “too old” and only God’s power could have brought conception and birth.

When you trust Jesus Christ, you experience a miracle birth from God (John 1:11-13), and it is the work of the Holy Spirit of God (John 3:1-8). Abraham represents faith, and Sarah represents grace (Gal. 4:24-26), so Isaac was born “by grace … through faith” (Eph. 2:8-9). This is the only way a lost sinner can enter the family of God (John 3:16-18). And no less a miracle.
It is worth noting that, in the biblical record, God rejected Cain and chose Abel (Gen. 4:1-15). He rejected Ishmael, Abraham’s firstborn, and chose Isaac. He bypassed Esau, Isaac’s firstborn, and chose Jacob (Rom. 9:8-13), and He chose Ephraim instead of Manasseh (Gen. 48). In Egypt, the Lord condemned all the firstborn (Ex. 11–12) and spared only those who were “twice-born” because they were protected by faith in the blood of the lamb. This is a type of the second birth.
Isaac pictures the child of God not only in his birth but also in the joy that he brought. Isaac means “laughter,” and this time it was not the laughter of unbelief (Gen. 18:9-15). In the parables recorded in Luke 15, Jesus emphasized the joy that results when lost sinners repent and come to the Lord. The shepherd rejoiced when he found the lost sheep, and the woman rejoiced when she found the lost coin, and they both asked their friends to rejoice with them. The father rejoiced when his prodigal son came home, and he invited the neighbors to a feast so they could share in his joy. There is even joy in heaven when sinners turn to God (Luke 15:7, 10).
Nowhere do we read that Ishmael caused great joy in Abraham’s home. Abraham loved his son and wanted the best for him (Gen. 17:18). From before his birth, Ishmael was a source of painful trouble (Gen. 16), and after he matured, he caused even greater conflict in the family (21:9). The old nature is not able to produce the fruit of the Spirit, no matter how hard it tries (Gal. 5:16-26).

Post M Part E The Great Conflict
Abraham the Father of the Faithful

First, God told Abraham to go to a country, but did not tell him where Heb 11:8. But without knowing, Abraham just got up and went. Heb. 11: 9. Finally after many miles God adds, He would give him this land as far as he could see. Many days later again, God was added that his was his children that would inherit the land. But they are now 99 and 90, way past the age to have children. So Abraham and Sarah together decided Abraham would have a child by Hagar, their madden. But much much later God added even more information that it would not be by Hagar, it would come by Sarah, his wife. When they finally had their promised son Isaac, by Sarah, his faith was tested again when God told him to offer Isaac up as a sacrifice. It please God when he seen Abraham obeying that command and would have carried it out if the angel had not stopped him. All this is a pattern of Hebrews 11: 1; "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
The Scripture adds;

ABRAHAM OBEYED GOD, WITH A FEW MISTAKES, AND WAS SAVED BY HIS FAITH
Abraham moved away from the paganism of his society and toward learning to hear, believe and act on the voice of the true God. (See Gen 11:27-12:9.) Abraham learned that it was not what we do for God, but what God has done for us that counts. He obeyed because he believed in God as his friend and loved Him. He knew God gave him many blessings.
We, like Abraham, cannot earn our salvation. We trust that God’s ways and laws are best for us and, out of love, try our best to obey like father Abraham. Abraham relocated all his people and belongings from his home country to a foreign one out of trust and obedience to God. That is not an easy thing to do. (See Gen. 12:4-7.) Abraham tithed to Christ in obedience to God. (See Gen. 14: 18-20.) When Abraham was ninety years old God told him to “Walk before me,” or obey in a mature or balanced manner (perfect). God gave him the covenant that would make him the father of the faithful for many nations. (See Gen. 17:1-5, 19.) Abraham obeyed God’s commandments, statutes and laws. (See Gen. 26:5.) The faith of his wife Sarah was also critical.
ABRAHAM SHARES THE FATHER’S EXPERIENCE OF OFFERING HIS ONLY SON
Abraham’s son born in the natural way was Ishmael. Abraham’s son born of grace by a miracle (not in any way earned) was Isaac. Abraham knew he needed his only son Isaac in order for God to fulfill His promise of making him a father to many nations and a blessing to the world. Yet he obeyed God when he was commanded to make the ultimate sacrifice of his only son. (See Gen 22:1-12.) Abraham offered Isaac on Mt. Moriah. He trusted that somehow God would make it work out. Abraham experienced what it was like for God the Father to see Christ enter Jerusalem to painfully become mankind’s Passover Sacrifice. Just like God, Abraham found it harder to sacrifice his only beloved son than to die himself. God allowed the father of the faithful to have a similar experience to God the Father, during the original Passover period. Abraham proved his faithfulness by being willing to sacrifice his son. He was stopped at the last second.
