Post Three; Times of Trouble Plays a Great Part in our Perfection.

Should we continue the drama about Job, it would become clearer how it all played a role in his uttermost perfection. He didn’t have to be coddled by those around him to keep him moving forward toward his goal. Christians that has to be pampered will never arrive there. As God had told Satan from the beginning;
“Job 1:8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him the earth? A (PERFECT) and an Upright man, one that feather God, and eschew evil?” But by the time all is said and done... Job has reached even higher hightsin his integrity.
Job 42:5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eyes seeth thee. :6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

The Lord Restores Job's Fortunes
Job 42:10 And the Lord turned the captures of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave job twice as much as he had before.
Job 42:12 So the Lord blessed the latter end of Job, (more then his beginning:)
Job 42:17 So job died being old, and full of days.

Paul told Timothy; II Timothy 4: 5 But watch thou in all things,
And to the Galatians he reminded them; Gal 3:3 Are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
3:4 Have ye (SUFFERED SO MANY THINGS IN VAIN?)If it be yet in vain.

Heb. 2: 10 after that ye have

Even Jesus, had to suffer for that purpose;
Heb 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower then the Angels, for the crowned with glory and honor, that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the Captain of their salvation (perfect through sufferings.)

Even Peter brought it up in I Peter 5: 10 But the God of all grace who hath called us into his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, (after that ye have suffered a while,) make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

Last but not least; Heb. 5: 7,8 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears, unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard, in that
Heb 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience, (by the things which he suffered:)
Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him,

Don’t Make Promises You Probably Cannot Keep

Christians should not make promises at all. It doesn’t matter if it’s to God, our friends, or our children. Sometimes people make promises and they can’t deliver. You don’t know if you’re going to be able to keep your word. God will always be here for you. If you’re going to do something just do it. If you can’t then don’t. Don’t speak foolishly with your mouth. God is serious when it comes to vows to Him or others. If you foolishly made a promise, then you need to do what you said you would do. In the future, do not make promises at all. If you have made one and you can’t keep it confess your sins and don’t do it again.

Be ever so careful about making promises to God or any one else. If will be honest, how many times have you promised something God and then failed to fallow through? See what the Bible has to say about this.

1. Ecclesiastes 5:5 It is better not to make a promise than to make one and not keep it.
2. Proverbs 10:19 Sin is unavoidable when there is much talk, but whoever seals his lips is wise.
3. Ecclesiastes 5:6 Don’t let your mouth make you sin. And don’t defend yourself by telling the Temple messenger that the promise you made was a mistake.
4. Matthew 5:33-36 “Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’ But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.
5. Ecclesiastes 5:2 Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.
6. Proverbs 20:25 Don’t trap yourself by making a rash promise to God and only later counting the cost.
7. Ecclesiastes 5:4 When you make a promise to God, don’t delay in following through, for God takes no pleasure in fools. Keep all the promises you make to him.
8 In some country you will see poor people who are forced to work very hard. You will see that this is not fair to them. It is against their rights. But don’t be surprised! The ruler who forces them to work has another ruler who forces him. And there is still another ruler who forces both of these rulers. 9 Even the king is a slave—his country owns him.[b]

God count it wisdom to watch what you promise him. Someone may tell you. “Tell God you will never sin again.” That’s a promise. It is better to say, “Only by Your Divine help can I avoid from sinning. Please forgive me and hid your Word in my heart that I might not sin against God.

Jesus said, REPENT and be Converted.

Any man that DOWN Pl ayes what Jesus said here, THAT MAN IS YOUR WORSE ENEMY.
There are churches in town that puts no value to +REPENTANCE+. To them, it is no more than a ritual. Like the shaken of their hand and ask a few questions. Like, do you believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again? If they say “YES.” That’s all there is to it. Then a date is set for baptism. The Preacher will declare them Saved and a member of their church and is ready to meet God. That Preacher is a full blooded enemy to your soul.

When Jesus said He meant it in the deepest sense. They are to have Godly sorrow and turn from their sins. If they never turn from their sins, they have not yet repented.

Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Does your preacher down plays the attributes that Jesus prescribed to here? If he did, he is your enemy. It cannot be replaced with water baptism, or any other ritual. It must be genius repentance. And it must be accompanied by the presence of the Lord. This conversion is the new birth, or the act on God’s part of regeneration. It’s a work of the Holy Spirit. It will all happen during the very refreshing that comes out of the presence of the Lord. No high priest can do this work for you. It is a direct work of the Holy Ghost.

Titus 3: 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to he saved us, by the and

As Jesus said, “You must be born again or you will perish.”

Post B Salvation Chapter
No doubt, in lots of cases, when a person is not healed when they are prayed for, it may not be the fault of the one but rather, the one may be the one at fault.

Act 3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, . (Peter invited the man to look on him for his faith to be healed>
Act 3:5 And he gave heed (expecting to receive something of them.) Act 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as [I have] give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
Act 3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Peter and John had something to give, and they gave it. The man that was healed was not expecting to be healed. He was expecting alms. Who do you say that had the faith that worked for this lame man?
I remember at Crossville, Bro. Gass felt he was dying. Dad would say, No! you are not going to die. Bro. Gass would say, "I have been healed lots of times, but this time I believe I am dying." Dad said, "Then rely upon my faith!" Bro. Gass agreed to do that. God healed him instantaneously and completely. I remember those things real well. Those memories will stay with me the rest of my days. It was God working in dad, and his faith.

The women said, "If I could but touch the him of His garment, I will be healed." And she was!

But getting away from that kind of faith, let's consider a verse so many has so great conflicting interpretations of. Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and to every creature.
Mar 16:16 He that believeth (BELIEVE WHAT) and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (THE GOSPEL)

The church of Christ's interpretation goes like this; to every creature. That Gospel is;
Mar 16:16 He that believeth (BELIEVE their doctrine of water baptism) and is baptized (water baptism) shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Not much emphases placed upon the believing part. Rather than, "if you believe that Jesus died and was resurrected, if you say yes, we will set a day to baptize you in water, and in that water you are saved. That is, providing a church of Christ preacher baptizes you."

Post A Salvation Chapter
FAITH POST… questions have been asked about justification by faith. Here it goes!

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the
Heb 11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Heb 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

This faith is not a complicating faith. We simple accept or trust the record, that is; that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, according to Heb 11:3.
No, we don't even start to understand the details of the Creation. But by faith, we accept it based upon was the Bible says or as it describes it to be is true. That describes faith! How could such a universe be created by a spoken Word? But, we believe it was without question. That is not however.
I Cor. 11:14

Faith and relationship with God goes hand in hand. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, "FAITH," Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. This category of faith is not the same faith as mentioned in Heb. 11: 1.

This so called; "name it, and claim it" is a cheap kind of "so called" faith. In much part, it cauterizes a COUNTERFEIT faith, with the exception of the gift of faith, that will be explained later post. But even that God is taking the driver's seat, not us. While the "name it, and claim it" puts us in the drivers seat. Otherwise, that is a "flesh faith." No more than a "religious doctrine." That places the "faith holder" as in charge of his own destiny. True, we make choices that affect the outcome of our destiny, and of course, having control of our own destiny is what we want, but at some degree, this is not the plan of God. 'God only' has that kind of control. Thou the world teach it differently. By living and walking in our destiny is eternal life with Jesus. So this topic is very essential to our understanding; or important to the highest degree.

Let me try to describe the faith I had when I was so sick with my heart attack, and the Lymphoma cancer. I can't really boost of my 'great faith'. My faith was simple also. I truly felt that God was in control of my life. No more, no less than that. That confidence seems to come to me rather than me mustering-up this sort of faith. It was based upon my understanding of God's Word and the assurance I felt inside me. There is left no room for bragging. It certainly was not a "name it claim it kind of faith with me." It was much like the put in me by the Holy Spirit.

This sort of faith I had, is what I call "relationship faith." I could not say positively I will be healed, with no question about it. It was more like, no matter what happens, God is in control of the situation! With some people, they would say, that is not faith at all. But actually, it is true faith, that is, if you can feel it within you. And I mean, "feel it." It was a deep set of peace. Much like God had told me directly, "Nothing can happen to you without my permission."

This is not to say, a person that is not healed did not have a relationship with God or 'relationship faith.' Remember, I said, I did not know for certain that God was going to heal me. But I did know for sure that He was in control of my situation. And I felt for with surety, if I should die, I would be in His presence. That is, nothing will happen to me without His consent.

The kind of faith that my Dad had was the results of fasting. By this 'kind of faith' he could rest assured he could pray for a person and that person would be healed. I have experienced that kind of faith at times. During this 'gift of faith' a working of the Holy Ghost, One can, at that point, name it and claim it. Please, don't stop reading. You haven't heard it yet.
Jesus said it this way…

Matthew 17:17-21 The disciples ask him privately, "Why could not we cast him out?"
Mat 17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be (impossible unto you.)
Mat 17:21 Howbeit this "KIND GOETH" not out but by prayer and fasting.

For those that say Christ was not born December 25, I am sure you are correct in that thinking. It appears He might have been born in the Spring. Can't be for certain. But we can be sure of, He was born in a manger by Mary, the Holy Spirit was His Father. He was born when and how God planned it. See Solomon 2:10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Son 2:11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
Son 2:12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
Son 2:13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
Son 2:14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

Post R Part J
Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Abraham two sons nor Isaac two sons, could all be the Royal Blood Line to Jesus. The same is true with Jacob' twelve sons. Only one could have this honor.

Not even Jacob be the Royal Son, his name had to be changed from Jacob to Israel. Certainly all 12 of Jacob's sons could not continue that 'one' bloodline. Therefore they would have to be tested to find which of the 12 would show the spirit of Jesus that would come.

A deep draft was in the land and Jacob and his sons were in great need of food. Jacob had heard that the king in Egypt stored corn for such a time as this, so he sent his sons there to buy corn. Jacob would not let his favorite son, Benjamin, go on the trip in fear that something might happen to him.

They went together to Egypt to buy corn, not knowing that Joseph, their brother, would be the man they would do business with, for they had sold Joseph to Egypt years back. If it had not been for Judah at that time, the brothers would have killed Joseph. Now here they are again, standing before Joseph to buy corn. Except this time, they do not recognize him to be Joseph. Joseph insist that if they have to come back to buy more corn, they will have to bring Benjamin with them to prove they are not spies, that they have told him the truth about themselves.

Finally the time came they had to go back to Egypt to buy more corn. The boys told Jacob that the man insisted they must bring Benjamin with them to buy the corn if not, he would not sale them any. Jacob did not want him to go fearing something bad would happen to him.
But Judah stood up promising to be a surety for Benjamin. Heb 7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. Judah put his life on the line for Benjamin because of his love for his father.
