There is a Nursery Attendant available beginning at 9:30 AM every Sunday and running until the end of worship. All are welcome to attend, see you there! Alternative ways to join us:

It's not too late to register for Shipwrecked VBS 2026! Set sail for an uncharted island where kids will survive and thrive while discovering that Jesus carries them through life’s storms. At Shipwrecked VBS, children will be anchored in God’s truth through Bible stories, music, games, and tons of fun!

Sparta United Methodist Church is collecting diapers of all sizes and brands to support the new Essential Needs Baby Pantry at Holy Family Parish. This important ministry provides essential items for families with young children, offering care and support during times of need.

The diaper collection will continue through Father's Day, Sunday, June 21. Donations may be placed in the designated collection areas around the Church on Sundays or dropped off at the Church Office during office hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Every contribution—large or small—makes a meaningful impact for local families. This is a wonderful opportunity for our church to partner with others in Sparta to share Christ’s love in a tangible and compassionate way. Thank you for your generosity and for helping us care for our neighbors in need!

THANK YOU! Sparta UMC would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the USPS and the generous Sparta community for the many donations collected for the Free Community Food Pantry. Your kindness and support will help provide food and encouragement to local families in need.
