If you are a graduating senior and a member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church (even if you are not currently attending Mass), you and your family are invited to our Baccalaureate Mass on Wednesday, May 28, at 6:00 pm. Father Jacob will offer a Mass of the Holy Spirit in your honor.

A message from Father Jacob:

Dear Parish Family,

I announce with sorrow the passing of Pope Francis, the shepherd of our Universal Church, whose steadfast pastoral witness guided the faithful with clarity and compassion. His life of service, rooted in the Gospel, reflected the hope of Easter and the promise of the Resurrection. I will always treasure the two occasions I met him while studying in Rome, moments that deepened my appreciation for his ministry. Our church will be open today from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for all who wish to pray for the repose of his soul. May he rest in the peace of the Risen Christ.

Anuncio con pesar el fallecimiento del Papa Francisco, pastor de nuestra Iglesia Universal, cuyo firme testimonio pastoral guió a los fieles con claridad y compasión. Su vida de servicio, arraigada en el Evangelio, reflejó la esperanza de la Pascua y la promesa de la Resurrección. Siempre atesoraré las dos ocasiones en que lo conocí mientras estudiaba en Roma, momentos que profundizaron mi aprecio por su ministerio. Nuestra iglesia estará abierta hoy de 19:00 a 20:00 para quienes deseen orar por su descanso. Que descanse en la paz de Cristo Resucitado.
