2025 DECORATION is Saturday, June 21st! Business meeting starts at 1pm.

We will have a large tent for shade, plenty of chairs, and lots of stories to share. Our non-profit community cemetery depends on the participation and support of everyone to preserve this beautiful tradition of gathering to remember and celebrate all that has been passed down. We hope you and your family will join us.

ELROD CEMETERY was established circa 1838 on land granted to the Howell-Elrod family for service in the American Revolution. The cemetery has served as a resting place for descendants of the family and members of the local community for more than 200 years. Revolutionary War veterans and some of Middle Tennessee’s earliest settlers lie beneath the ancient cedars at the heart of the property.
