PUMPKIN CONTEST!!! With PRIZES!!!!!
Begins at 4:00 PM On Oct 18th!

Bring your carved/painted/decorated pumpkin to the church by October 18th at 4:00pm to be entered into the Pumpkin Contest.

Rules
1. Paint, decorate, carve your pumpkin. Anything goes as long as a pumpkin is the main focus.

2. Bring your pumpkin to church the day before or the day of the event. PLEASE DO NOT BRING PUMPKINS ANY EARLIER THAN OCTOBER 17TH. If you are carving a pumpkin, consider the timing of when you will carve and how you will store your pumpkin, keeping in mind that carved pumpkins don't keep forever.

3. Please include a 3x5 Card (or similar small-sized paper). On the front should be a title for your pumpkin art. On the back should be your name, your age, and your phone number. For example: "Bats in the Night" (on front of card)

4. Pumpkins will be judged by a panel of judges using a rubric. The pumpkins will be judged based on visual impact, craftsmanship, and originality. Entries will be judged by age groups. Tentatively, the groups are as follows: ages 8 and under, ages 9-14, 15-18, 18-55, 55+. Groups are subject to change based on number of entries. Prizes will be given out in each category.

5. Pumpkins will also be displayed during the festival and have the opportunity to win "Crowd Favorite." Each person attending the Festival will get to vote for their favorite pumpkin overall. The Pumpkin voted "Crowd Favorite" will also receive a prize!

Leave your wallets and cash at home and come on out to The Springs on Saturday March 29th. Come find treasures that you or your family have been needing and wanting, all for FREE! That's right, everything is free. (Why the word "sale" then? Well, a "Free For All" sounded a little too chaotic...) Think of it as a yard sale, but no prices, no haggling, no cashiers.
