What a powerful morning at Griffin FCA!

Thank you to Minister Matthew Thomas for coming and pouring into our students today. He brought a challenging and timely message from Second Epistle to the Corinthians and reminded us:

“You may have passed the test, but you haven’t mastered the class.”

Paul said three times, “I sought the Lord.” Even Paul understood the importance of fully relying on God.

We were reminded that pride often shows up right before destruction, and sometimes the very things we think we’ve overcome will return just to see if we truly learned the lesson.

The truth is: the only way real change happens is through God!

We must stay humble enough to know that it is God who carries us through every challenge, every struggle, and every victory.

What a powerful morning at Griffin FCA!

Pastor Seth Brown inspired the students from 1 Samuel 16:1–7 as he spoke on Why David Was the One.

What made David different?
David pursued God when no one was watching.
David invested his time with God in private before God elevated him in public.

Just like David, we must invest our time with God and learn to trust Him fully. The strength, courage, and confidence David had came from the time he spent with the Lord.

David was ready to face every challenge because he had already been with God in the fields before he ever stood in front of giants.

Dive into the Word. Stay in prayer. Build your relationship with God now so you will be ready when God calls you!

What an amazing time at Griffin FCA this morning! 🙌🏾

Minister Robert Taylor brought a powerful message: “Don’t Go Flat!” from Isaiah 55:8–9 🔥

He reminded us that just like a ball needs air, our relationship with God must stay full. The stronger your relationship, the more “air” you have to keep going!

To be a strong Christian, you must:
• Stay consistent with Jesus
• Have faith
• Meditate on His Word day and night

But watch out—three things can leave you flat:
• Distance
• Distractions
• Disappointments

At the end of the day, the strength of your relationship with God is in your hands. Stay filled. Stay focused. Don’t go flat!

What a powerful morning at Spalding High School FCA! 🙌🏾

Junior, Dakota Duvall, brought the Word from 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 and boldly shared his testimony. He spoke on how doubt has actually grown his faith—reminding us that even in uncertainty, God is still working!

Even more special… Dakota is the FIRST student to share at a BIG FCA meeting in over 10 years! 🔥

God is moving in a powerful way, and this is just the beginning!

What an incredible honor it was to pray over the The Griffin-Spalding County School System, Griffin GA during the Unite Prayer & Worship Service. 🙏🏾

There’s something powerful about coming together as a community to cover our schools, students, teachers, and leaders in prayer. I truly believe God is moving in Griffin-Spalding, and the best is yet to come!

Today, Minister Matthew Thomas shared a powerful devotional from Philippians 4:19.

We were reminded that God is our ultimate source—not people, not circumstances, but Him alone.

“My source will always be God. All my help comes from God.”

No matter what we face, God promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory. Let’s continue to trust Him as our provider in every area of life.

Thank you, Coach Garrison, for allowing FCA to serve the Griffin Girls Soccer Program through the FCA Character Ed Program.

Today, I had the opportunity to encourage these young ladies to pursue excellence in everything they do, based on 1 Corinthians 10:31—doing it all for the glory of God.

Excellence isn’t just about performance on the field, but also about character, attitude, and faith off the field. Proud of these girls for leaning in and growing!
