At Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Parish, our main pastoral message is to live as Jesus did, by forming a community life of the Spirit and teaching how to render service to the Christian community and the entire human family. Saturday: 8:30 am, 5:00 pm Vigil

Happy Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary! 🎂🎉🥳

Today we rejoice in the birth of Mary, the Mother of Our Lord and our spiritual mother. May her humble “yes” to God inspire us to trust Him more deeply and to follow wherever He leads.

Please join us at the St. Carlo Eucharistic Miracles Exhibition event Oct. 12-16 to check out the exhibit of Marian apparitions as part of this beautiful experience.

Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Today, the Church celebrates the glorious Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, body and soul, into Heaven.

Mary, who gave her whole life to God, was taken into the glory of Heaven at the end of her earthly life. Her Assumption is a beautiful sign of the destiny God desires for each of us: to share fully in the life and glory of Heaven.

Mary reminds us that our lives are not meant to end in this world. We were created for Heaven. And as we look to her, we are reminded to say “yes” to God with the same trust, humility, and love she showed throughout her life.

“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” — Luke 1:46–47
