Starting on Pentecost a new four-week sermon series will begin that will focus on the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is the Third Person of the Godhead and deserves our recognition and worship. During this season we will learn to experience wonder, worship, and walk with the Holy Spirit to enrich our personal relationship with the Lord, and tap into the power of the Spirit that enables us to build the kingdom of God!

I know that the Bible is a living word. It is unlike any other book I have ever read. When my eyes search the sacred texts, something holy stirs within my soul like a flame that burns away all the distractions of the world, and all the dross of the flesh, until I am left with the startling and sacred presence of the Lord, who communes with me, and speaks to me in ways sometimes too great for words. On every page the breath of God breathes into my soul and gives me spiritual life because it is a living word. Indeed, no other book can consume and nourish the human soul like the Bible.
