God, remind me today that You are still working, even when I cannot see it. Give me the courage to trust You in the waiting and the faith to believe that You are not finished with my story. Help me surrender what I cannot control and rest in the truth that Your plans are good. Strengthen my heart, renew my hope, and remind me that my best days are still ahead. In Jesus’ name, amen.

For us to truly be submitted to God’s will for our lives we have to lay down our own desires. Sometimes there will be seasons of promotion and blessings and sometimes there will be seasons that take us to the cross. Throughout all of it, we can lay down our plans and find comfort in the truth that God is good, no matter what the circumstance is.
