The world keeps searching for truth within itself, yet we’re more restless than ever. This message explores how Scripture offers something the world cannot—a deeper, lasting joy rooted not in self, but in God.

This Sunday in Psalms, we will look at Psalm 51, the first of two Lament passages.
Psalms of lament give voice to sorrow, sin, and distress in the life of God’s people in the midst of this broken world. In psalms of lament, the author acknowledges God’s Almighty character and action, brings a specific complaint or petition to the Lord boldly, and then chooses to trust in God’s way and timing. These psalms show that we do not ignore pain but instead bring pain honestly before the Lord. Lament provides God’s covenant people with language that deepens endurance while also submitting to God’s sovereignty and covenant faithfulness.

Kids sports aren’t the enemy.

But what happens when schedules, tournaments, and travel teams slowly push church to the margins?

In this episode of the 412 Podcast, we have an honest conversation about kids, sports, church gatherings, discipleship, and what Christian families should prioritize.

This isn’t about guilt or legalism.

It’s about asking:
What sits at the center of our family’s life?

Because the rhythms we create today are shaping the disciples our kids become tomorrow.

Whether you’re raising athletes, navigating packed schedules, or simply trying to lead your family faithfully, this conversation is for you.

We are called to be Christians. A key element of being a Christian, according to James, is to care for one another, to care for the body, and to bring back and restore those who are wandering.
