“I believe that when you pray for the nations, you touch the heart of God.”

Gateway Church member Jack Abraham felt a burden for Cuba decades ago. What started as a quiet prompting to pray grew into decades of faithful intercession, focused on the nation, its leaders, and the seeds of faith planted in the hearts of its people.

Over the years, Jack’s faithful prayers led to a lifelong missionary journey, serving churches, equipping pastors, and supporting communities across the island. His story reminds us that persistent prayer changes nations and opens doors for impactful Kingdom work!

There is something happening in Europe.

In France, home to one of the largest Jewish populations in the world, one of our partner ministries has reported that 30 Jewish people have come to faith in Yeshua in 2025, including 5 in the past 5 weeks.

But beyond this ministry, church leaders across the region are noticing a shift. Young people are asking questions about God, reading the Bible, getting baptized, and attending church.

Across Europe and beyond, churches are growing. Adult baptisms are increasing. Many of these are first-generation believers!

There is a growing spiritual hunger, and God is moving! 🔥

“I recently met some rockstars! Pastor Fred, his wife, and many others faithfully serve in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Their church serves as the spiritual center of the community.

“While I was visiting Pastor Fred on the first Sunday service, heavy rains flooded parts of the building as they were preparing for worship. The bigger problem, though, was electricity. Pastor Fred said, ‘We haven’t had steady power in weeks.’ They had to rely on natural light.

“Before the service, we went upstairs and I began praying, ‘Lord, this is your house. Would you provide electricity for your people to worship?’ As we prayed, I opened my eyes, and the lights suddenly came on. We looked at each other in disbelief. God answered our prayer in the simplest, most powerful way!

“I’m so thankful Gateway Church partnered with this ministry in the DRC to finish their church building.”
