The Spiritualist Church of Love and Light est. in 2014- Christian Spiritualist Church located in CT We are judgement free. All are welcome.

The Spiritualist Church of Love and Light is a Christian Spiritualist* ( see message below) Church In Connecticut. We meet in person on the 1st and 3rd Sundays ( and occasionally on the 5th Sunday of the month) and also online via Zoom every week. Sunday services are held from 10:30AM-12:00PM EST each week. We are located at 1135 Marion Ave., Southington CT, which is The historic Marion Schoolhouse, where we hold our IN PERSON Services on the 1st and 3rd (and 5th) Sunday of each month. You may Also join us via Zoom every Sunday if you prefer. All services are held via Zoom weekly and streamed live whether we are in person or online only.

*Message to attendees at church (online and in person). Our format for Spirit reading is allotted to the time available in the service and at the discretion of the speaker. We have some speakers that do not do readings at all. Spirit guides our guest speaker to persons who are open to receiving a message ( some people are blocked). Every week our service and speaker is different. Spirit truly guides our church services and the guest speaker as well. ALL MESSAGES ( as you probably have heard us say this too) are from spirit during the “readings”, even if YOU did not specifically get called on. Also, “Spirit messages are a greeting, not a reading”. Spirit truly guides our church services and attending service does not guarantee anyone/everyone a reading in the time available before service finishes at noon.

**“Our prayer list is a sacred and confidential ministry. Names are shared solely for collective prayer & held with compassion, reverence and care. We ask that requests to be held quietly in your heart, without commentary or outreach, unless personally invited. Private prayers may also be shared directly with our minsters in confidence.”

Also, all the people who are guest speakers will be happy to book an appointment with you for a paid reading if you really connect with them. Most of our guests have a full time business in their specialty. Our church hopes this clarifies our guest speaker guidance, and our church service and reading protocols.

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all well and got some rest on our August Church break.

This Sunday is when we are starting our Coffee time before our in-person church service from 10:00 - 10:30 AM. Please feel free to come early and enjoy some coffee and the church community. Hope to see you then.

This Sunday is September 6, 2026. Our speaker will be Nicole Davis.

Just a reminder, that there will be NO Church service online or in person as we are on our AUGUST break and our next church service in person and online will be Sunday September 6, 2026.

The ministers will be here for our community however and will be holding these gatherings during our break. They are as follows:

If anyone is looking for a Healing and Trance Mediumship class, Stephanie Rosally-Kaplan owner of Autumn Sage LLC is Hosting this Workshop which will be held on Saturday October 24 and Sunday October 25th, 2026 from 10AM to 6 PM. This is an in-depth 12 hour intense workshop. Workshop will be taught by Stephanie Rosally-Kaplan and Stephen Hermann. *Please see attached Flyer for specific information.

There will also be Gallery Readings for an additional fee on Friday October 23rd starting at 6 PM.

Cheryl Benanti, owner of Reiki Will Travel LLC., is a Reiki Master Teacher, Life Coach, Intuitive Tarot Reader and just became a nondenominational Wedding Officiant. Cheryl works with companies as a wellness resource and provides services for private events and gatherings. She is a resident tarot reader at The Spa at Norwich Inn and see clients for all services in Avon and Southington, her area of focus is change that will help create a positive outlook on your journey to self-discovery and personal growth.

This Sunday is July 26, 2026. Our speaker will be Rev. Sandra Deckinger.

Rev. Sandra Deckinger has worked as an evidential and spiritualist medium for over 30 years in various churches in US, Canada and England. She is a trance medium as well as a spiritualist healer and Reiki Master.
At the present time, she focuses on her work as a Medical Intuitive which she combines with her mediumship, past and between lives regressions work to bring about healing and understanding to her clients. Rev. Deckinger encourages her students to develop their intuition and mediumistic skills. She enjoys her work as a teacher, helping those her students, develop their intuition and understanding of their skills.

This Sunday is July 19, 2026. Our speaker will be Diane Hebenstreit.

Diane has worked with Spiritualist Churches in Connecticut for decades as an Interfaith Minister, delivering loving messages from spirit. She left her corporate job in Information Technology to follow her passion. She’s a psychic medium, training with many of our beloved Connecticut mediums over the years to develop her gift. Also training with international mediums John Holland, Steven Hermann and Winter Brook Ryan. A gifted energy worker, a Reiki Master, Integrated Energy Therapy Master Instructor, Breath Coach and practitioner of Vortex Healing and Arcturian Healing Light. Diane also receives message from the Highest Council of Light and uses her skills to assist those who wish to enhance their own healing, growth and spiritual path.

This Sunday is July 12, 2026. Our speaker will be Shari Altmark.

Shari Altmark’s experience was a career of public service, advocate, and energy healer. She became an ordained Humanist/Spiritualist, performing Weddings and life celebrations, Reiki, sound healing, breathwork, and spiritual coaching until her retirement. She also started to perform within the entertainment industry, and eventually worked alongside a psychic medium. Although she is unable to perform readings herself, she strongly believes in the gift. She believes each of us have a higher self that resides in each of us, thus it is necessary to see every day as a new beginning.
