Bhai Deva Singh Ji (Jammu) was from the era of the gem-like puratan Singhs who devoted their lives to naam bani abhyaas. Bhai Sahib passed away after amritvela on February 4, 2026.

Bhai Sahib spent his life devoted to seva and service, initially in the Air Force, and along with many puratan Singhs, including Bhai Sahib, Bau Mal Singh Ji, Komal Ji, Pooran Ji, Bhai Atma Singh Ji, Bhai Jiwan Singh Ji, and many more.

We were lucky to have spent time around Bhai Sahib in Akhand Path Sahib smagams here in NJ and NY. They were an experienced paathi who gave a lot of encouragement for youth to become fluent in larivaar Gurbani paath. Bhai Sahib would sit in one chaunkra from the start to the finish of every smagam we had with him here.

Bhai Sahib is survived by his children, all of whom are blessed with keertan di daat. We will miss Bhai Sahib’s sangat and do ardas for bhana da bal amongst their family and sangat.
