Those who pre-registered will join us at CSZ for a dairy dinner for the whole family. Together, we’ll say the meal prayers, sing some Shabbat songs, and get to know one another as our Shabbaton officially kicks off! This event is full, and registration is closed.

Kabbalat Shabbat - 7:00 p.m.
Following dinner, refresh your soul with Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma’ariv services led by our featured guest, Rabbi Josh Warshawsky.

Candle Lighting - 7:33 p.m.

Kiddush and Kibbitz, a Young Professionals Oneg - 8:30 p.m.
Following services, CSZ Village invites young professionals (ages 21-45) to stick around for drinks, desserts, and learning with Rabbi Yoni Dahlen. Bite-size T'fillah for our littlest Daveners! The love of Jewish prayer, culture, and identity starts young, and that’s why we do too! Our Shatots service allows our littlest daveners to embrace the joy of Shabbat with singing, dancing, and stories perfect for babies, toddlers, and families. Join us in Hermelin Hall after the sermon, then stick around for Adon Olam in the main sanctuary for a special Shabbat treat, and then join the rest of the CSZ family for lunch (by advance registration) or kiddush in Orley Hall!

Play and Pray - Throughout Morning Services
Families: Our Tikvah Chapel is open for play time on Shabbat mornings, during services. Use the ramp to the left of the Lee and Gerson Bernstein Chapel. Adults can also watch the live streamed service as they supervise their children.

Kiddush and Shabbat Lunch - 12:00 Noon (approximately)
Following services, everyone is welcome for a light kiddush and schmooze with your CSZ family. A safe, pre-packaged Shabbat lunch is available for those who pre-registered.

Minchah - 1:00 p.m.
Join us in the Leee and Gerson Bernstein Chapel, and on Zoom.

Someday...is Here, The Concert - 8:30 p.m.
Join us as we conclude Shabbat and welcome in the new week with the renewing magic of Havdalah and a FREE CONCERT, which is also OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Day with the Detroit Pistons - 2:00 p.m. Reception, 3:30 p.m. Game Time
Join your CSZ family to enjoy an afternoon at Little Caesars Arena as the Pistons take on the New York Knicks.
Our outing will include:
- Pre-game reception in Heritage Hall featuring CSZ member and Pistons Executive Arn Tellem, who will answer your questions about his career and what it is like to help run an NBA team.
- Great seats mid-court on the Mezzanine along with your friends.
- An opportunity to go on the court to shoot a free throw just like the pros.
- Free Pistons souvenir item for each person in the group.
- Five Dollars from each ticket sold will go to support the new playground project at CSZ, which the Pistons will match.
- Transportation and parking are on your own.
