Varrimi mbas meshës në varrezat familjare në 17 Mile, Garfield, Clinton Township, MI.

Lajmrim Mortor

Gjyste “Tina” Mansoor (Kalaj) passed away June 1st, 2026 at home. She was born December 18th, 1954 to Nikola and Pashka Kalaj in Montenegro.

Tina loved nothing more in this world than being “Nana” (a grandmother) to her grandchildren, Julian, Cassius and Bodhi. She retired early to help her daughter in law and best friend Chelsea care for them full time. She thoroughly enjoyed and participated in every outing, field trip, holiday and school activity. She fiercely adored her only son Carl, and he was the absolute light of her life.

She also loved her family and friends deeply. She prioritized time spent on vacations, birthdays, BBQ’s, Feasts and holidays just to be around her very loved siblings, nieces, nephews and all of her many extended family members.

Tina was a beautiful person and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

She is survived by her son Carl, his wife Chelsea and her 3 grandchildren Julian, Cassius and Bodhi Kalaj. Her siblings Maria (Gjon) Lulgjuraj, Age Kalaj, Gjon (Silja) Kalaj, Pjeter (Filë) Kalaj, Drana (Mirash) Curanaj, and Lena (Danny) Jencic and their many children, her beloved nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Nikola and Pashka Kalaj, her brothers Pashko Kalaj, and Rrok Kalaj, her sister in law Dila Kalaj, brother in law Gjon Lulgjuraj and her nephew Albert Jencic.

A visitation will be held Sunday, June 7th 2026 at Mandziuk & Son Funeral Home from 3-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday June 8th 2026 at 10 am at St. Paul’s Albanian Catholic Church followed by a burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Family and friends are invited to attend.
