On Open Mic Night the fellowship hall transforms into The Sanctuary, a safe place for sharing our feelings and gaining practice on stage at a microphone in front of a supportive audience. Poets Todd, Carla, Barb, and Sharon shared poems about their mothers, grandmothers, springtime and trees. Our host, Angelo King sang and Joel improvised a song dedicated to his cats. Also, special thanks to Mr. Jerry for bringing his oatmeal cookies!
