FMBC First Missionary Baptist Church Southern Pines, NC First Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC) - a place where visions become realities! Charlie Boggan and Mrs. Elvira Parker. Berry Hasty, along with others.

First Missionary Baptist Church is the fruit of seeds sewn in 1895 with a Sunday School organized and held in the home of Mr. & Mrs. Seeing the efforts bear fruit, these people were later joined by Jim Brown, Henry Pertervine, John Battle, and Rev. In 1897, two deacons from a neighboring church, First Baptist in Manley, were instrumental in organizing the Sunday School group into First Missionary Baptist Church.
