Dear friends, we would like to invite you to a new Retreat on March 20, 21,and 22.

Guest speaker: Mother Silouana from Fr. Turbo's convent in Kansas City area.

We had mother Silouana on zoom before and she is wonderful: very spiritual and a deep understanding of the human nature.

Friday, March 20th open ONLY for women, but Saturday, March 21st open to ALL people (men and children are allowed too).

As usually we offer financial assistance and accommodation by requests.

Dear friends, Geronta Ieronymos arrived here from Greece yesterday. He is the one of the kind. So gentle, so humble....Bishop Emilianos is on the way -30 minutes away. We are ready to go to turn on the lights in the church and ring the bell. It is such a great blessing to have all under the same roof, in the Parish House, in our church.

Please do not miss such a great opportunity. You do not need to go to Greece or Australia or Texas to meet them. The Spiritual retreat start tomorrow at 6:00pm with dinner , lecture, Q&A, and Vespers and Litia for St. Anthony the Great. Sunday Matins at 7:45am, and Liturgy at 9:00am - St. Anthony the Great. Saturday 2 lectures....

Metropolitan Hierotheos Vlahos in an interview for the Romanian Magazine - Orthodox Family - said: "Just as when someone enters a perfumery, his clothes are soaked with the fragrance of that place, so too the saint transmits the grace of God that he carries within him; he influences people through the tradition in which he lives, through the way of life that he inspires. When a man is spiritually reborn through the grace of God, he transmits this renewed life to those who approach him; he becomes a model of church life."

There is a tradition at Holy Archangel Michael Orthodox Church in Southbridge to organize Spiritual Retreats and bring here in MA monastics, the disciples of holy people like Geronta Ephrem of Arizona or Fr. Roman Braga, or Orthodox Priests who preserve the Orthodox inheritance unalter by the nihilism of our times. They bring us grace, spiritual food and wisdom which help us navigate through the challenging world.

This is why we invite you again to a Spiritual Retreat with someone who lived for almost 14 years close to a future saint of the church, Geronta Aemiliaons of Simonopetra Monastery from Mt. Athos, Bishop Emilianos. Those who attended our Philocalic Nights in November 2025 already met Bishop Emilianos, or simply Geronta Emilianos.

Please save the dates: January 16, 17 and 18. Geronta Emilianos will deliver 2 talks and we hope Geronta Yeronimos from St. Katherine the Great Monastery from Greece will deliver the third one. Geronta will serve also on Saturday and Sunday and deliver a sermon on Sunday.

Jacob Protopsaltis Group will be the lead cantors for our 100 Anniversary services starting with November 7th, All Night Vigil., and continue with services on Saturday, and Sunday.

Our Centennial Celebration is getting close! Like in Romanian fairy tales, our celebration will last three days, starting November 7th, November 8th, and November 9th. This big celebration will include many special events:
1. November 7th - 7:00pm - An Athonite (Mt. Athos- Greece) like All Night Vigil (Vespers, Litia, Matins, and Divine Liturgy all together for a total of 7 hours services!!) ;
2. Saturday - the Feast day of Holy Archangel Michael - we will start with the Akatist of Holy Arch. Michael, followed by Memorial for the Founder of the church.
3. At 2:00pm The Anniversary Symposium - will host our special guest speakers - His Eminence Metropolitan Nicolae Condrea, and Hieromonk Fr. Jeremiah from St. Dumitru Monastery, Middle Town, NY.
4. Great Vespers and Litia will start at 5:00pm - Vespers for Sunday and St. Nektarios. We have the relics of St. Nektarios!
5. Dinner
6. Real Byzantine Psaltic music experience - All the changings for our Anniversary are performed in the Byzantine Psaltic Tradition of Mt. Athos by 7 experienced Protopsaltis and cantors from Romania and America.
7. Premiere in Massachusetts and America the movie - Where are you Adam? - one of the producers Dn. Alexander Plyska is coming at our Anniversary, and after movie he will answer any questions regarding the production of the movie. The movie was filmed in Mt. Athos, Dochiariu Monastery, for 4 years. It is an unique documentary movie that already got many international movie festivals awards.
