Great news! The Rev. Andrea Castner Wyatt, Rector of Trinity Church, Newtown, CT, has been called as the new Rector of St. Mark's, Southborough! She will begin on September 1, 2026. Rev. Andrea has exceptional gifts in pastoral care (with experience in hospice care and serving in a community still healing from trauma), in developing new programs to reach the community and build church attendance, and in connecting with people in a way that they feel welcomed into the church.
Among other things, Rev. Andrea writes, "I am deeply honored to accept your call to serve and lead as your Rector. I am excited to accompany you in your many ministries - following Jesus in offering healing, transformation, and spiritual community to our neighbors in need.
"I am curious about what new outreach and mission we will create together – welcoming newcomers, deepening Christian formation, offering the sanctuary of God’s love."
