Personal Testimony: Standing Firm in Faith and Service

I strive to place my trust in God alone and not in idols, worldly influences, or the desires of the flesh. Each day, I seek to make humble and wise decisions that honor God and follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I work to keep negative influences out of my mind because I believe that doubt, temptation, and sin can distract us from God's purpose for our lives.

I recognize that I still have areas where I need to grow. One area is improving my eating habits and taking better care of my health. I pray for the discipline to honor God through wise stewardship of my body and mind. I strive to resist sinful desires and focus my thoughts on things that are pleasing to God.

Throughout my life, God has strengthened my heart and given me a passion for helping others. I care deeply about low-income families, homeless individuals, and young people who need encouragement and support. Over the years, I have shared money, food, lunches, hygiene items, and clothing with those in need in Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and other communities. I believe that serving others is one way to demonstrate God's love in action.

I strive to be a cheerful giver rather than a taker. I care about the well-being of others and seek opportunities to help people who are struggling. I continue to faithfully support my church through tithes and offerings, trusting God to provide for my needs and guide my financial future.

I am grateful that God hears my prayers and has carried me through many challenges since 2011. He has given me patience to wait on His timing and trust His plan. Through difficult seasons, God has protected me from harmful influences, unhealthy relationships, and people who sought to discourage me. He has given me strength to persevere and remain focused on His calling for my life.

I believe that life is precious and that people should seek to live according to God's truth. I encourage others to respect their elders, avoid gossip, walk in the light, and pursue lives marked by faith, integrity, and compassion. I hope that my testimony encourages people to strengthen their relationship with God and make choices that honor Him.

As I reflect on my journey, I see God's protection, provision, and healing in my life. He has sustained me through sickness, hardship, homelessness, and uncertainty. He continues to bless me with opportunities to serve, teach, encourage, and help others.

Today, I remain committed to standing firm in my faith, helping those in need, supporting my church, and trusting God for the future. I will continue to wait patiently on the Lord, knowing that His plans are greater than my own. My prayer is that God will continue to strengthen me, guide me, and use my life as a testimony of His grace, mercy, and faithfulness.

Personal Testimony: My Favorite Book and Scriptures in the Bible

One of my favorite books in the Bible is Galatians. I appreciate the Book of Galatians because it teaches the importance of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, living by the Spirit, Christian freedom, and producing the fruit of the Spirit in our daily lives. The message of Galatians reminds me that believers are called to walk in obedience to God and not be controlled by the desires of the flesh.

Throughout my spiritual journey, there are many Bible passages that have encouraged, strengthened, and guided me. Some of my favorite scriptures include Matthew 5:3-5, which teaches humility and meekness; 1 Peter 2:9, which reminds believers that we are a chosen people called to declare God's praises; and 1 Timothy 1:12-17, which demonstrates God's mercy and grace toward those He calls into His service.

I also find wisdom and encouragement in Ecclesiastes 7:14, Exodus 20:13-17, Isaiah 10:27, Psalm 146:1-7, Psalm 119:66, Psalm 27:14, Psalm 140, and Psalm 142:2-7. These passages remind me to trust God in difficult times, seek His wisdom, and remain faithful through life's challenges.
The teachings found in Galatians 5:17-22 are especially meaningful because they contrast the works of the flesh with the fruit of the Spirit. I strive to demonstrate love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control as I grow in my relationship with Christ.

Other scriptures that have strengthened my faith include 1 Timothy 6:6, Psalm 31:23-24, 2 Timothy 4:7-8, Isaiah 26:12, 1 John 5:14-15, Proverbs 14:21, Proverbs 19:17, Matthew 5:6, Matthew 6:6, Psalm 112:6-7, Psalm 37:30-31, Deuteronomy 7:21, 2 Corinthians 9:7, Isaiah 33:15-16, Isaiah 54:10, Ephesians 2:10, Romans 12:12, Psalm 146:7, and Micah 7:7.

These scriptures remind me to trust God's promises, practice generosity, seek righteousness, remain steadfast in prayer, wait patiently on the Lord, and continue serving His kingdom with faith and perseverance. They have helped shape my walk with Christ and continue to encourage me as I seek to live as a faithful disciple, Bible teacher, evangelist, and servant of God. Through these passages, I am reminded that God is faithful, His mercy endures forever, and His plans for His people are good.

Personal Testimony: Growing Closer to My Church Home

I am ready to move into a new place near the church that I decided to make my church home when I walked the aisle during the invitation last Sunday. I thank God for leading me to a congregation where I can worship, serve, and grow spiritually alongside other believers.

Living closer to the church will allow me to be more engaged in worship services, Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, ministry opportunities, and church events. I believe God is opening a new chapter in my life where I can become more involved in the work of His kingdom and build stronger relationships with my church family.

I continue to believe that this spring and summer season is a special season in my life as a man of God and an ordained Bishop. Through many challenges, trials, and transitions, God has remained faithful and has continued to guide my steps. I trust that He is positioning me for greater service, spiritual growth, and opportunities to encourage others.

As an act of obedience and stewardship, I began paying my tithes to the church last Sunday. I am grateful for the opportunity to support the ministry and the work that God is doing through the congregation. I look forward to continuing to pay my tithes this Sunday and remaining faithful in giving back to the Lord from the blessings He has provided.

I praise God for His guidance, provision, and favor. As I move closer to my church home, I pray that He continues to strengthen my faith, deepen my commitment to His work, and use me as a blessing to others for His glory.

Personal Testimony: Moving Closer to My Church Home

I thank God for His guidance, provision, and faithfulness throughout my journey. In five days, I will be moving closer to my new church home where I can become more engaged in worship, Bible study, fellowship gatherings, and ministry opportunities.

This move is an important step of faith because I will be paying my own rent and living expenses while continuing to trust God to provide for my needs. I believe God is leading me into a season of greater stability, responsibility, and spiritual growth. By living closer to my church family, I will have more opportunities to serve, build meaningful relationships, and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Looking back on my journey, I can see how God has opened doors, provided encouragement, and connected me with people who have helped me along the way. This move is not just about changing locations; it is about strengthening my commitment to God, becoming more active in the life of the church, and continuing to walk in obedience to His calling on my life.

I am grateful for every lesson, every challenge, and every blessing that has brought me to this point. As I prepare for this new chapter, I trust that God will continue to direct my steps, provide for my needs, and use me for His glory and His kingdom. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6).
