Join us Thursday morning as we kick off another great series. This one is called Weathering the Storm: Faith That Holds in Hard Conditions. Life’s storms aren’t a possibility, they’re a promise. Jesus never asked men to pretend the skies are always clear; He taught us how to stand when the winds hit hard. This series is aimed at building spiritual resilience for real-life suffering, uncertainty, and strain. Each week we’ll look at biblical practices that form a sturdy faith that doesn’t collapse under pressure but grows stronger through it.

Pastor Jason will get things started with Forecast: Trouble – Expecting Storms, Not Avoiding Them (John 16:33). Jesus is clear: storms will come. But courage comes from knowing He has already overcome what we’re walking through. We must trade naïve optimism for grounded confidence and prepare our hearts before the storm hits.

Join us as we begin a new series, Straight Lines in a Crooked World: The Letter to Titus. The world is loud, confused, and constantly shifting. In Paul’s letter to Titus, we find a blueprint for cutting through the noise. This series calls men to live with clarity, conviction, and courage—not by retreating, but by showing up different. In a culture of compromise, God is still raising men who draw straight lines.

Jason Grissom will be kicking things off in Titus 1: Cut It Straight – Discernment in a Deceptive Age. Titus was left on Crete to “set things in order” – a task that demanded clarity in a culture full of smooth talkers and half-truths. As men of God, we’re called to reject spiritual numbness, to sharpen our discernment, and stand firm when the world blurs the lines.

This week we're trying something new. Instead of our normal breakfast and speaker series, we are taking this time to be a blessing to others. We will be preparing sausage and biscuits and taking them to the teachers at Pleasant Hill Elementary School. We will also be taking them to the firefighters stationed at Olive Branch Station 5 (near the school) and Southaven Station 4 (near Silo Square). We are blessed to have these teachers and firefighters in our community, so we want to be able to give back, even if it's just a little bit. We will also be offering to pray with them.

In this series, we will explore how spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Scripture, and Sabbath are less about routine and more about renovation. Think of this as soul carpentry for men who want to build a life that lasts.

Pastor Hunter will kick things off with The Level -- Humility and Confession. Please take time before Thursday and read Psalm 139:23-24 and 1 John 1:8-9 to prepare your heart for this word.
