New Season of Creation Daily Devotions Begin on Sept. 1

Most of us know very little about the great web of life that surrounds us. The purpose of these daily devotions is to open our eyes to some of the “created ones” with whom we share common ground, to awaken our hearts to their needs, and to take new steps toward living together in peace.

How do they work? Each day of the 2026 Season of Creation (September 1 - October 4) participants will receive a Daily Devotion via email bringing to light a different keystone species in our Province One EcoRegion. The Devotions will include a photo, a brief description, thoughts on how the species reflects our image of God, and a closing prayer. The Devotions will be prepared by Episcopalians from around Province One.

It's that time again! We're collecting school supplies for area students in need. Shop from the Amazon wish list, or make a purchase at a local store (Staples, Target, etc). A fleet of school buses decorate the back wall of the sanctuary with suggested items. Please take one or more to inspire your shopping! Items may be shipped to the church or to your home.

What a treat it was to celebrate two confirmations on Sunday with our bishop, +Jeffrey Mello, presiding. At our 8 AM service the bishop blessed the latest batch of comfort critters for distribution, and following the second service we enjoyed a fabulous potluck, anchored by the requisite American staple of hot dogs and hamburgers to honor Flag Day. Thank you to everyone who helped to set up, clean up, plan, prepare food, and dine with us!
