Riza from the Department of Children and Families came by this morning to pick up the backpacks and supplies which will be distributed this school year!

Back to School Week!
As our students and teachers head back to school this week, we are keeping you and your families in our prayers.

We're excited about new beginnings whether this is the first day of kindergarten, middle school, high school, or college. May you have open hearts and open minds for a year of growth.

Remember that God is always with you. Encourage and support others who may be struggling by showing kindness.

To our college students, we can't wait to hear from you! We're looking forward to seeing you in church the next time you are home. Be ready for hugs!

Join Wapping Community Church for a fun-filled fall evening at Foster Family Farm on Saturday, September 19, from 6:00–8:00 PM!

Bring a flashlight and explore the corn mazes after dark! Families can also enjoy hayrides, pedal karts, and the Bounce Pad while lighting conditions allow.

Our group will have access to a private tent area, providing a place to relax, gather, enjoy dinner, and spend time together throughout the evening. Food trucks will be available until 8:00 PM with a variety of dinner and snack options.

Be sure to visit the new Sunflower Walkthrough, a beautiful setting for fall photos and family memories.

Pumpkins will also be available at special group prices:

Carving pumpkins: $5 each
Decorative pumpkins: $5 each
Sugar pumpkins: $3 each

With our work done for the week, we started our day on the ropes course here at Maine Seacoast Mission. After lunch we took an hour long drive to Acadia National Park. Lots of fog and clouds limited our views, but a spectacular place nonetheless. We leave here at 430am in the morning. ETA to the Enterprise in Vernon...11am.

After a day of hard work, we took a late afternoon trip to Sandy River Beach in Jonesport, looking out over the Gulf of Maine. It's the kind of place that's so beautiful it feels like God is showing off a little bit. A great end to a really good day!

We spent today at a family's home about half an hour from Cherryfield, cutting out drywall in various rooms of the house...

We spent today at a family's home about half an hour from Cherryfield, cutting out drywall in various rooms of the house that had been damaged by a major leak in the roof. We then replaced the drywall and put the first coat of "mud" over the new drywall. The group worked hard, learned some new skills and stayed dry out of the rain! Feeling productive and tired...😉
