Today is Children’s Sunday — a special intergenerational worship service celebrating the gifts, voices, and faith of our youngest disciples. While our children will help lead us in worship, this service is truly for all ages! Through music, storytelling, movement, and participation, we will explore Matthew 13:31-32, Jesus’ parable of the mustard seed, and discover how God takes small acts of faith, love, and kindness and grows them into something beautiful. Come ready to laugh, reflect, wonder, and be reminded that every person — no matter their age — has a role in growing God’s kingdom.

It will be good to worship together TODAY at 10:00 a.m., either in person or online! You can find our worship livestream right here on the Old South Union Church - Weymouth page. And you can find the order of the service below:

• Words of Welcome
• Prelude "Prelude in D " (Marc-Anoine Charpentier)
• Greeting and Gathering for Worship
• Opening Hymn "Allelu, Allelu, Allelu"

It's Saturday, which means it's time to breathe! Each Saturday, we share a different breath prayer for you to use throughout the coming week. A breath prayer is a brief sentence or simple phrase that can be easily repeated and said in one breath. It is made up of two parts, one that you pray while breathing in, the other that you pray when breathing out. You keep repeating each phrase, using the rhythm of your breath as a guide. Breath prayers are a great way to focus your mind, calm your spirit, and connect with God.

This week's prayer is connected to our worship service from last Sunday, which was Music Recognition Sunday. Give this breath prayer a try, and let us know how it goes!

It's time for our midweek prayer post! You can share your requests in the comments, trusting there is a loving community of faith that will read your requests and join you in prayer. Because that's what it means to be church! We help to carry each other's burdens and celebrate each other's joys.

So how can we pray for you today? You can share a name or a specific need, you can leave a longer request, or you can simply type "Amen" and we'll pray for you by name, trusting that God knows our every need without us having to say a word.

O Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers...

Please join us for worship today at 10:00 a.m. The service is going to be filled with so much goodness! First of all, it's Music Recognition Sunday! We'll have the opportunity to recognize our amazing choir and thank them for all the time and talent, energy and passion they share with our church. We'll also have with us in worship Yukiko Oba, who serves as the Choral Accompanist during choir rehearsals on Thursdays and occasionally plays piano in worship, too. And we'll celebrate our amazing Music Director, Dale Munschy, giving thanks for his gifted and faithful leadership of our church's music ministry. We're also including extra hymns in the service. These hymns received the most votes in our "share your favorite hymn" contest. We'll weave hymns throughout the whole service as we embrace the words of our scripture reading from Psalm 100. We will "make a joyful noise to the Lord" and sing of our faith together. So please join us today as we celebrate Music Recognition Sunday!

Since it's also the first Sunday of the month, our service will include communion. If you're worshiping from home, please remember to gather something you can eat and something you can drink so you'll be ready to participate in communion with us.
