Long before founding St. Mark Christian Academy and entering the priesthood, Father Mark’s life was shaped by profound grace and resilience. On September 11th, he was inside the North Tower before it collapsed, enduring an experience that deeply grounded his path of faith. His firsthand story of survival and endurance from that day is preserved in the National Geographic 9/11 Video Archive.

We invite you to take a moment to watch his testimony. It is a deeply moving reflection of the quiet courage, faith, and empathy that led him to establish our school and continue to define his pastoral care for our students, families, and staff today.

We remain profoundly grateful for his vision and continued spiritual leadership.

The hallways are buzzing, the energy is contagious, and just like that—Week One at St. Mark Christian Academy is officially in the books! 📚✨

From the big smiles of our newest faces taking their very first steps on campus, to the warm hugs welcoming back our returning students and families, our community feels stronger and more vibrant than ever.

This year isn't just about starting a new chapter; it's about growth. We are especially thrilled to celebrate a huge milestone as we welcome our very first class of 6th graders into our expanding middle school program! Watching our students step into leadership, build new friendships, and embrace new challenges this week has been nothing short of inspiring.

God is doing big things at SMCA, and this week was just the beginning. We have so many exciting plans, deep learning experiences, and unforgettable moments ahead this school year.

Thank you to our amazing teachers, dedicated staff, and supportive families for making this first week so special.

🎉 THANK YOU, GABRIELLA! 🪵🏐

A huge shoutout and heartfelt thank you to Gabriella for completing her Eagle Scout Project at St. Mark Christian Academy!

Thanks to her hard work and leadership, our students now have a fantastic new Gaga Ball Pit to enjoy. Gabriella is truly doing God's work by bringing so much joy, community, and active play to our school.

We are so grateful for her dedication, faith, and service to our school family. Next time you're at the school, be sure to check out the new pit!

Week 6: August 3rd – August 7th

This past Friday, June 12th, our halls were filled with big smiles, proud families, and plenty of happy tears as we celebrated three incredible milestones at St. Mark Christian Academy!

​🎈 Pre-K 4 Moving Up: Our littlest learners are officially ready to take on the big world of Kindergarten! Thank you for bringing so much joy, energy, and curiosity to our academy this year.

​🎒 Kindergarten Graduation: Caps off to our graduates! You’ve grown so much, from reading your first words to building lasting friendships. Next stop: First Grade!

​🚀 5th Grade Moving Up: A major milestone for our oldest elementary students as they officially advance into our Middle School classes! You have shown incredible leadership, character, and creativity. We can’t wait to see you thrive as you step up into middle school right here at SMCA!
