~~SPCC Annual New Year's Three Day Fast
The theme for this year’s fast comes from Ephesians 6:12:
~~“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the high places.”
~~Day Three
(Wednesday, 12/31/2025)
~~Deliverance from demonic strongholds over our family.
~~Meditation for Day Three comes from Ezra 8:21-23(read).
~~Ezra 8:21-23 signifies a powerful moment of corporate reliance on God, where Ezra and the Israelites, facing a dangerous journey back to Jerusalem with treasures, fasted and prayed to seek God's guidance and protection, rather than asking the Persian king for soldiers, affirming God's power over earthly armies. They humbled themselves to ask God for a "right way" and He answered, showing that diligent prayer and self-denial, when aligned with God's will, are effective in securing His divine favor and intervention for safety and success.
~~Prayer:
~~“Heavenly Father, we pray for your protection for our loved ones from our enemy who we know has increased his activity in these last days. We pray for spiritual awareness and divine perception to recognize all the ways he seeks to divide and destroy us. Give us the “Mind of Christ,” (1 Corinthians 2:16), that we may be “as wise as serpents and harmless as doves,” (Matthew 10:16).
