Welcome to our seven new seminarians! This group arrived earlier this week for Seminary orientation. As the entire Seton Hall University community begins the fall semester with move‑in day today, our seminarians depart for a retreat to begin the semester with prayer, reflection, and renewal.

A wonderful discussion yesterday led by Dianne Traflet, with Elise Ann Allen, author of Pope Leo XIV: The Biography. Elise shared stories of her first-hand engagements with Pope Leo XIV, which truly reveal the emphasis on human relationships and friendship that will be a continuing theme in his Pontificate. The Seminary will share video taken from her lecture “Hospitality and Evangelization: The Witness of Pope Leo XIV” in the coming weeks.
