Yesterday after service we celebrated Dale Shuster on his retirement! 🎉

He grew up on an upstate dairy farm and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Immunology from Cornell and a PhD from the UK. His career took him from the FDA in Iowa to American Cyanamid and Schering-Plough in New Jersey, then Eisai, and finally Daiichi Sankyo. He spent his last 15 years there most recently as global Director of Precision Medicine leading about 350 people across the US, Munich and Japan.

Dale has been a huge blessing to First Pres and Trinity, doing so much for the church such as staying on top of the quality of live broadcasting of service, roof repairs, setting up the Children's garden at church, replacing lightbulbs in our sanctuary with the extra long ladder, and even putting up our large Christmas wreath placement each year.

We wish him the best time ever during this time of reinvention and appreciate all he's given over the years to keep FP&T safe and comfortable for all congregants.

Directions to Summit Field North:
From the church, head west on South Orange Avenue toward Livingston, through the Village and up the hill.
Just past "The Top" apartments (on your left), turn left onto Crest Drive.
Follow Crest Drive 0.6 miles to the barricade.
Just before the barricade, turn right into the parking lot (signs for Wildflower Preserve/Sculpture Park/Dog Park).
Drive through the lot to a parking area on your left.
The gravel driveway to Summit Field North is on your right — walk down to the picnic area, or drive down just to drop off items.
Note: Don't park on the gravel driveway or grass — parking along the paved road is fine.

We were blessed to welcome Rev. Steve Huston as our guest preacher last Sunday, and we’re tremendously grateful for the generous donations to the Souper Bowl Offering.

Join us for a beautiful evening of Handel’s Messiah, led by Susan Haig of the South Orange Orchestra. Come listen or sing with us! Chorus practice starts at 6:30 PM, and music scores are provided.

This free community tradition began in 2021, and donations toward future concerts are warmly appreciated. Hope to see you there! 🎼
