“TO MUCH GRACE”

Jesus preached grace before the word was ever invented.

Repent does not mean grovel.
Repent means metanoia change your mind.
Change your mind about God.
Change your mind about yourself.
Change your mind about what you think separates you.

When Jesus said deny yourself, He was not saying deny your humanity.
He was saying deny the false self built out of fear, shame, performance and religious ego.
The cross is not self hatred.
It is the death of the lie that you are separated from God.

Pick up your cross means let the old Adam story die.
The story that says you must earn love, prove holiness, and survive on spiritual probation.
Jesus did not come to kill people.
He came to kill the lie that was killing them.

Holiness in the Bible is not moral perfection.
Holiness means set apart.
Set apart from what
From the lie of separation.
From the Adam mindset.
From the belief that God is distant and conditional.

Be holy for I am holy means live from the same union I live from.

Endure until the end does not mean endure God’s threat.
It means endure truth while every lie in your mind is being exposed.
The end is not the end of people.
The end is the end of the old world of fear.

The narrow gate is not narrow because God is selective.
It is narrow because ego cannot fit.
Self righteousness cannot fit.
Fear cannot fit.
Only trust fits.

Few find it because religion teaches people to climb ladders instead of fall into love.

Jesus did not say few are loved.
He said few find the way.
Love is not scarce.
Sight is.

And here is the line religion cannot handle

God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself
not counting their sins against them

That means Jesus was not offering reconciliation.
He was announcing it.

Grace did not start after the cross.
The cross revealed how far grace was already willing to go.

Jesus did not preach a probation gospel.
He preached a Father who never stopped being a Father.

The gate is narrow
But the house is full.

If you can, please come and join us as we celebrate and worship our Lord through song and praise
Saturday, January 17 from 4-6pm. Come ready to sing, praise, even dance if you feel you must as we just give God glory and praise in a fun filled evening of "Joyful Noise"
Afterwards, there will be food and refreshments downstairs.
