Food For Thought has changed this year.
If your family lives in Grand Isle County and qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch, Food For Thought is for you! We plan to provide fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs, and books for kids to enjoy throughout the summer. This is in addition to the Grand Isle Supervisory Union Summer Lunch Program. The GISU has a redesigned Summer Lunch Program planned for this summer. This program is for anyone with children up to age 18. Please sign up!
Here is how you sign up for each program:

2. Food for Thought: If you live in Grand Isle County and your family qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch during the school year, please call 802-372-4962 and speak with Margaret. Margaret will need to know your children's ages and their reading levels or grades.
Food For Thought is a program of the Congregational Church of South Hero.
Food For Thought distribution will be held at the Congregational Church of South Hero on Thursdays from 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm and at the Islands In The Sun Senior Center in Alburgh from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

We are excited to offer a weekly meal box containing food for 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches for children 18 and under.
