In the Armed Forces and Federal Ministries cycle of prayer, we pray for our chaplains, military members, their families, and for those serving in Alabama at Maxwell Air Force Base, Redstone Arsenal, Fort Novosel, Anniston Army Depot, Federal Correctional Institution Aliceville, and the Birmingham VA Medical Center. 🙏🇺🇸

Weekly Prayers:
Pray for the worldwide Anglican Communion, for The Episcopal / Anglican Province of Alexandria.

Pray for the Parishes of the Neponset River Deanery: Christ Church, Hyde Park; Iglesia de San Juan, Hyde Park; Church of the Holy Spirit, Mattapan; Church of the Advent, Medfield; Daughters of the King and Brotherhood of St. Andrew.

Pray for the local churches in our neighboring community of Manchester: Emmanuel Episcopal Chapel, Cornerstone Church, First Parish Congregational Church, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Pray for our nation, for President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, all elected officials in Massachusetts, and for those in positions of public trust, especially Senator Ed Markey, Senator Elizabeth Warren, Representative Seth Moulton, Governor Maura Healey, Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, and Senator Bruce Tarr.

Pray for your enemies.

Today is our last day of Summer Schedule....say it isn't so!!! Worship will be in the Chapel at 8:00 a.m. or the Church at 10:00 a.m.

Today we’re reminded of a people on the threshold of liberation, told to eat in haste with sandals on their feet and staff in hand, because God is eager to deliver. Paul strips the law down to its irreducible core — love your neighbor as yourself — and then sounds the alarm: the night is far gone, the day is near, so put on the armor of light and put on the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus gives his church a demanding and hopeful vision of community: go directly to the one who has wronged you, pursue reconciliation with patience and witnesses, and trust that where two or three are gathered in his name, he is there in the midst of them.

The collects for the second part of the Season after Pentecost were designed by Tatiana Suggs-Perea. She serves as the director of communications at Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, where she works to better connect the Southwest community on campus and across the church. She also serves as vice chair on the board of directors for Episcopal Communicators.

God gives us big love so we can forgive others and make peace instead of staying angry. God promises that he will always be with us when we are together to help us solve our problems. That is such good news.

Children’s Daily Prayer
Dear Jesus,
Thank you for loving me and making me part of Your big family. When my feelings get hurt or I get angry, help me to use kind words. Help me to talk things out and forgive others, just like You always forgive me. Thank you for being with us whenever we gather together. Amen
