In John 8:8–9, when Jesus bent down and wrote on the ground, one by one the accusers walked away after being confronted by their own sin. Before God changes our situation, He often wants to change us.

There are moments God allows because He wants to meet us personally, expose what we’ve ignored, humble our hearts, and bring us to repentance. Not for condemnation, but for transformation.

This past Tuesday, our YA Men’s Bible Study decided to put our faith into action.

In Acts 16, we see Paul taking the Gospel from city to city. Through his obedience, God led him to Lydia — and through hearing the Gospel, her life and her whole family were transformed.

There are still people like Lydia waiting for someone like Paul to step into their city and share the Gospel.

There are many voices that sound convincing, but not all of them lead to life.

The key is not just identifying what is harmful, but knowing God’s voice so well that anything unlike Him becomes clear.

Guidance from God is often less about detailed directions and more about recognizing the shepherd voice.

The more we seek Him, the more familiar His voice becomes in the decisions, the timing, and even uncertainty.
