STAND ON TRUTH.

Because it is more loving to speak the truth than it is to celebrate and affirm what God calls sin.

It is more loving to say that Jesus is the only way than to say that there are multiple roads that lead to heaven.

Love rejoices in truth.

And just because the truth may be offensive does not mean that it is not loving.

Truth comes from understanding God’s Holiness and His Love.

“Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” - 1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭6‬ ‭

YET I WILL REJOICE IN THE LORD.

Habakkuk’s circumstances do not change.

There is still pain. There is still doubt. There is still suffering.

But his posture towards the Lord changed.

What began as demanding of answers, turned into worship and rejoicing.

Can you worship God even if He does not do what you want Him to do?

“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” - Habakkuk‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬-‭18

Keep Both Eyes Open.

2 tracks. Both headed in the same direction.

One track is the reality of our situation.

The other is the God’s character, His goodness, and His promises.

We often make the mistake of only seeing one track at a time.

But the truth is, both can be true both are often true together.

We must look honestly at the circumstances we are in, but also ground our hope in the character and sovereignty of God.

Our situation and circumstances will always change.

God’s character and His promises never change.

Place your hope in Him.
