I haven't posted anything in a while, and feel compelled to do so now. I was asked by someone what Zen teaches you. My response is this: Zen teaches you to pay attention to your life, and to take your life seriously with intentionality, and to be able to not take your life too seriously in regard to what you think it "should be". To open yourself to being wrong, and letting go of what you think in order to see truth, and then trusting your understanding. Ask yourself continuously, "what is this life?" And continually look to the present unfolding and act towards the betterment of all!
