Pastors Rory and Linda Carey, and the Daytona Christian Center family ruefully announce the homegoing of our dearly beloved sister, intercessor, prophetess, and partner in Christ- Evelyn Annette Smith-Vickers.
We, however, rejoice knowing that this true soldier of the Cross was a woman after God’s own heart. Sister Evelyn lived a life of faith, integrity, righteousness, and excellence. For 21 years, she has faithfully labored, prayed, preached, and prophesied as a dedicated partner of Daytona Christian Center, where she touched the lives of so many. She truly kept the faith, fought a good fight, and has now finished the race. Now may she receive her promised Crown of Life, which has been laid up for her.

Last night's National Day of Prayer Volusia County, was a whole lot of prayer, and so much more. It was CHURCH, revival, people being saved, delivered, blessed, and set free. The Spirit of God was strong in the house and our God was glorified!! Praise the Lord!!!

It's been described as Ground Hog's Day meets the Twilight Zone. Follow Peter as he realizes we aren't always able to fix our mistakes, but God is able to use our mistakes to fix us.
