Romans 8:1 KJV King James Version
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
What does it mean to WALK AFTER THE SPIRIT?
And, why was it WRONG for Other Versions to Remove THAT from the Holy Bible?
It was WRONG, because it is a CONDITION that is REQUIRED!
THAT'S WHY!
Let me give you Scripture which explains WHY!
Also, Walking in the Spirit is WORKING IN THE SPIRIT!
First, here are a few equations which you should be aware of!
Faith = Salvation
Faith + Nothing Else = Salvation
Faith + Works = Salvation IS WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
Faith = Salvation + Works IS RIGHT! RIGHT! RIGHT!
Jesus saves us by Faith & Trust in Him ALONE!
Then, AFTER Jesus Saves us we Walk by His Holy Spirit!
Then, as we Walk by Jesus' Holy Spirit He gives us His Works to do!
This is Automatic for Every Believer in Christ Jesus!
If you are Saved, and you have no works in your life, then you NEVER got Saved!
Works are the Result of Salvation!
Works happen because Jesus saved us!
However, works do NOT save us!
Faith Alone save us!
Big Difference!
Many are going to say to Jesus!
Look at all we did for you, and Jesus will say to them,
Depart from me, ye who work INIQUITY, I NEVER KNEW YOU!
Matthew 7:21-29 KJV
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Many unsaved people try to work for their Salvation, and they live and walk in their sins, and they remain unsaved, and they tell everyone that they are saved, and they themselves even BELIEVE they are saved, BUT THEY ARE NOT SAVED!
Jesus Himself must save you, and Jesus must be doing HIS WORKS THROUGH YOU!
That is Salvation!
That is the difference!
So, get it right!
Cry unto Jesus NOW, and get it right NOW!
Now, for those Scriptures that back up the Last Half of Romans 8:1, which say we must walk in the Spirit, which are WORKS IN THE SPIRIT!
James 2:14-26 KJV
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
James 1:19-27 KJV
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
