We hope everyone has had a great Labor Day weekend, enjoying moments spent with family + friends before the new routines of fall begin!

We are praying for every student, teacher, faculty member, and administrator heading back to school this week. We are praying for a great year full of joy, favor, and a deep awareness of His Presence. 🙏🏼

FLC Honduras Missions Trip Recap | August 2026

This past week, our team got back after an amazing week of ministry at El Ayudante Honduras in Comayagua, Honduras! The team was able to serve in so many ways, including providing medical care, working on several construction projects, laying hands on the sick, preaching at churches + various outreach events, and running a Bible school program in a public elementary school.

It was a great trip and we are so proud of our team! They all came back with amazing testimonies of how God moved mightily in and through them + the lives of everyone they met.

Thank you to all that sponsored our team + all who continue to give towards our “Missions” fund, where we’re able to sow into all that God is doing all around the world, especially where our good friends are planted at El Ayudante!

Each year, our Freedom Care Team hosts a 10-week long course called, “GriefShare" —

GriefShare is a safe, supportive course designed to help you process grief in a healthy way. GriefShare is for anyone who has lost a loved one—whether a spouse, child, parent, or someone else dear to you.

The very first GriefShare gathering is an introductory session here at FLC on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6:30pm. We know how difficult it can be to take that first step when you’re walking through such heavy emotions, so we encourage you to simply come to the first session and see if it’s the right fit for you. Please know that there is no pressure to share unless or until you feel ready and comfortable.

This September, we are launching a brand new discipleship course called, "All In," and if you are reading this post, this course is for YOU! 🙌🏼⁠

The All In course is the first step in becoming a thriving part of Freedom Life Church. This 8-week course, (starting here at FLC on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30pm) combines DNA & Discipleship: who we are, what we believe about the major issues facing our society, and how we live as Christians in a broken world. ⁠

— Course Information: "All In" is an 8-week course, designed for adults ages 16+. Programming will be available at the church for Freedom Kids & Freedom Middle students during the course — You MUST register your children when you sign up⁠
⁠
— To Sign Up: Head to "freedomlifeny.com/events" - Be sure to do so before September 20th!⁠

— There is no cost for this course, but consistent attendance is required based on the nature of how the sessions will build throughout the course ⁠

Our Honduras Missions Team landed in Comayagua, Honduras just a few hours ago! 🙌🏼

They are getting prepped and ready to serve this week — between multiple construction projects and assisting medical needs, helping to lead church services + VBS programs for kids, ministering to the surrounding villages, and more — they are so excited to partner with our missionary friends at El Ayudante Honduras!

Let’s be praying for them this week as they minister! Pray for safety, favor, good health, unity, grace, and safe travels. 🩵
