🐾☀️ Dog Days of Summer at Michaud Memorial Manor! 🐶❤️

On Friday, Michaud Memorial Manor held our annual Dog Days of Summer Dog Show, and it was paws-itively wonderful! 🐕 Residents had so much fun seeing all of our furry friends strut their stuff. Their smiles said it all!

A huge thank-you to everyone who brought their pups and helped make the day so special. Our residents absolutely love seeing the dogs, and we can’t wait for next year’s Dog Days of Summer!

A Wonderful Morning at Arnold’s Rescue Center!

Residents from Michaud Memorial Manor had a fantastic time visiting the animals at Arnold’s Rescue Center in Brownington yesterday!

A huge thank-you to Bari and Doug Fischer and Sue Arnold for giving us such a special personal tour. Our residents loved spending time with the baby ducks, precious Poitou donkeys, mischievous goats, and beautiful mules, donkeys, and burros.

What a wonderful morning filled with animals, smiles, and memories!

The residents of St. Joseph Kervick in Rutland have been patiently waiting for their monarch butterflies to hatch—and today was the big day!

Four beautiful butterflies emerged, and the residents had the joy of releasing them out the window to begin their journey. What a special moment to witness!

We’re so glad they could share in the wonder of nature and send these little monarchs on their way. Safe travels, butterflies! 🦋

Many thanks to the amazing volunteers from the Northeast Kingdom Medical Reserve Corps for bringing their “Aging Well” presentation — and lots of very thoughtful donations! — to Michaud Memorial Manor earlier this week. Rebecca and Nicole’s interactive presentation was inspiring, and a great boost for morale. The residents and staff are all looking forward to the MRC’s next visit!

Last year, our staff at St. Joseph Kervick Residence planted the Easter lilies from our 2025 Easter celebration in the garden. This week, they are in full bloom, filling the garden with beautiful flowers and joyful memories.

Tropical breezes, festive decorations, and delicious Hawaiian food made for a perfect Luau-themed Annual Summer Picnic at Michaud Manor!
Residents, families, and friends came together to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of great food, laughter, and wonderful company. From the vibrant island-inspired décor to the warm community spirit, it was a day full of smiles and special memories.
