An update directly from Metropolitan Antony, for whom we've all been praying, as to his health:

Dear Archbishop Daniel and Fr. Vasyl Pasakas, who have been so devoted and attentive to my personal comfort and care, and to all our beloved clergy and lay faithful- and my loving family:
ALL GLORY, HONOR, AND PRAISE BE TO OUR LORD, GOD, AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST!
During these days, I have been deeply moved by the outpouring of love and prayer that has surrounded me. Your cards, text messages, telephone calls, emails, and messages through social media continue to arrive each day. I read them with profound gratitude. More importantly, they continually turn my mind and heart toward our Lord Jesus Christ - the true Physician of our souls and bodies, the Source of our strength, and the center of all healing.
Please know that your prayers are not simply received; they are deeply felt within my heart and soul. They have become a source of consolation and encouragement as I walk through these days of uncertainty and now begin the path of treatment that lies before me.
I want to share with you personally the reason for this message. Following extensive medical testing, I have been diagnosed with a form of cancer known as non-Hodgkin lymphoma. While hearing the word cancer naturally carries a certain weight, I receive this diagnosis with faith, hope, and trust in God. My physicians have assured me that this is among the more treatable forms of cancer, with strong possibilities for remission and, in some circumstances, cure.
The course of treatment before me will be lengthy and will require patience, strength, and perseverance. Yet I enter it neither frightened nor alone. The Lord is with me, and I know that the prayers of the Church surround me. With God’s grace, the skill and care of my physicians, and your continued prayers, I am determined to walk this road faithfully and to bring the treatment to its completion.
There is no need to say much more at this time. I simply wanted you to hear these words from me and to know that, even as you pray for me, I continue to pray for you each and every day. A spiritual father never ceases to carry his spiritual children before the Lord, and I ask only that you continue to carry me in your prayers as well.
Whatever days the Lord places before us, we receive them from His loving hand. In sickness and in health, in moments of uncertainty and in moments of consolation, Jesus Christ remains our hope, our strength, our healing, and our life.
May the Most Holy Birth-Giver of God spread her protecting veil over all of us, and may our Loving Lord grant us the strength to place ourselves completely into His providential care.

УСЯ СЛАВА, ЧЕСТЬ І ХВАЛА НЕХАЙ БУДУТЬ ГОСПОДЕВІ, БОГОВІ І СПАСИТЕЛЕВІ НАШОМУ ІСУСОВІ ХРИСТОВІ!
Упродовж цих днів мене глибоко зворушує та любов і молитва, якими ви мене оточуєте. Ваші листівки, мобільні повідомлення, телефонні дзвінки, електронні листи та повідомлення у соціальних мережах продовжують надходити щодня. Я читаю їх із глибокою вдячністю. А найголовніше - вони постійно спрямовують мої думки й серце до Господа нашого Ісуса Христа - Лікаря наших душ і тіл, Джерела нашої сили та осередку всякого зцілення.
Я не просто знаю про ваші молитви - я глибоко відчуваю їх у своєму серці й душі. Вони стали для мене джерелом розради та духовного підкріплення в ці дні невизначеності, коли я розпочинаю шлях лікування, що лежить переді мною.
Хочу особисто поділитися з вами причиною цього звернення. Після ґрунтовних медичних обстежень мені було діагностовано одну з форм раку - неходжкінську лімфому. Звичайно, саме слово «рак» несе в собі певний тягар, однак я приймаю цей діагноз із вірою, надією та упованням на Бога. Лікарі запевнили мене, що ця форма раку належить до тих, які добре піддаються лікуванню, з високою ймовірністю досягнення ремісії, а за певних обставин - і повного одужання.
Курс лікування, що чекає на мене, буде тривалим і вимагатиме терпіння, сили та витривалості. Однак я вступаю на цей шлях не зі страхом і не на самоті. Господь зі мною, і я знаю, що мене оточують молитви Церкви. З Божою благодаттю, завдяки знанням і турботі моїх лікарів та вашим невпинним молитвам я сповнений рішучості пройти цей шлях із вірою та завершити призначене лікування.
Наразі немає потреби говорити більше. Я просто хотів, щоб ви почули ці слова особисто від мене і знали: навіть тоді, коли ви молитеся за мене, я щодня продовжую молитися за кожного з вас. Духовний батько ніколи не перестає приносити своїх духовних дітей у молитві перед Господом, і я прошу лише про одне - щоб і ви продовжували пам’ятати мене у своїх молитвах.
Які б дні Господь не посилав нам, приймаймо їх із Його люблячої руки. У хворобі й здоров’ї, у хвилини невизначеності та в хвилини розради Ісус Христос залишається нашою надією, нашою силою, нашим зціленням і нашим життям.
Нехай Пресвята Богородиця простягне над усіма нами Свій Покров, а наш Люблячий Господь дарує нам силу цілковито віддати себе Його благому Провидінню.
