Here at Ebenezer CME Church we are happy to celebrate our heritage and culture. On Sunday, we celebrated our heritage by wearing African heritage attire. Also the men sang and led the service. We finally heard a great message from one of our young adults, Ms. Damirii Syphax. “God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called”.

Lastly, after service, a delicious meal was prepared in the fellowship hall. Members then participated in a presentation of the “Twelve Tribes of Israel”. We were blessed to collect canned foods for a local food bank. To God be the glory!

💫 Every Sunday at Ebenezer CME Church is something special… but especially on 2nd Sunday! Our children and youth led the worship service followed by a game day in the fellowship hall. The children and adults enjoyed the food and games. Thanks to Ms. Priscilla Sanford and Evangelism, as well as all others, who helped to make this event a success!

Family & Friends Day at Ebenezer CME Church consisted a lot of “Food, Fun, and Fellowship”!

We are thankful for the community showing up and supporting this event. Special thanks to the South Boston Fire & Police department, Mrs. Sharon Harris, Vice Mayor for the Town of South Boston, AJ’s Kool Shaved Ice, JDub Entertainment Photo Booth, Ernelle Bellamy with Big Fade Entertainment, Chris Easley and Easley Inflatables and to everyone who came to support this occasion. May God continue to bless each of you and we hope to see you again soon.

Youth Sunday at Ebenezer CME Church was something special today…

Our children, youth, and young adults participated in the service and sung in the choir. A very powerful message was spoken by Ms. Priscilla Sanford to our youth as they begin a new school year. She also gave a heartfelt prayer for youth and teachers. To God be the Glory!

Children’s Day 2025 at Ebenezer CME Church was something special today! We recognized 11 students from elementary thru college who received promotions to new schools and also graduated. All children received certificates and gift bags for being promoted to the next grade. Special thanks to Ms. Taryn Garland who gave remarks and words of encouragement to our children.

There was also a baptism of 5 children and youth who decided to give their lives to Christ. God is doing amazing things at Ebenezer! To God be the Glory!

We will celebrate Children’s Day Sunday, June 8th 2025 during our 11am morning worship service. Please come worship with us as we celebrate the hard work and achievements of our children and youth. Following service we will have a Taco Bar in the fellowship hall. All are welcome!!
